My wife and I are head out on Tuesday and I was curious who else is going to San Diego Comic Con next week?
ill be there the whole shibang if you dont catch me wondering around i'll be at the Hasbro booth with all the IDW guys
Man, I wish I could get my wife to go with me, but she has a dreadful fear of flying. In years past, I've gone to SDCC to cover animation events and panel discussions for toonzone.net. But a few other TZ staffers will be there this year, which frees me up to attend as a professional and do some much-needed networking for voiceover gigs. I'll also be at most of the TF-related panels, except the Hasbro toys one because it conflicts with the "Animaniacs/Pinky & The Brain" panel that is just so much more important to me than Hasbro. And I'm hosting a little get-together for members of the "Voice Actor Appreciation Group" I host. We're probably meeting Saturday evening for dinner, although I haven't quite decided on the time or location yet. If any of you would be interested in joining us (you don't have to be a voice actor fan), just drop me a PM and I'll keep you updated.
I can't even go out to eat at a restuarant without the pain getting pretty bad, so the answer for me is a big NO. :-( I'd love to go to a few conventions next year, who knows... SDCC, Iacon, Botcon, and Comdex would be my dream to make in a year.
hey hey yup. stormbringer should be out come SDCC so buy some copies and bring 'em buy the hasbro booth. idlove to sign some just as long as you realize my signature will be fudgin up the cover xD if im not there i'll be at booth #1115 [Alias Comics booth] signing some posters i colored exclusively for the con. heck stop on by there regardless and buy a poster or two xD
I'll be there on Thursday (thanks to Cataclizm1 for hooking me up for a ride down there ). and then I'll be back to stay for the weekend (FRI-Sunday since my hotel stay is booked for those days).
Tony Bacala and DESTRO will be there, at the Stylin Online booth (I believe), who has Stan Lee signing autographs at the table directly to their right or left.

My trip was a bust. Found out on Monday my radiator was shot and repairs cost over $400. That was my trip money. And that's some big time suck. You guys have fun and please share lots of pics and anecdotes with us when you get back.
