Transformers Free.

And finally:

Transformers For...

Or fill the next movie with lots of boobs and call it 'Transformers Phworr!'

It will definitely be the way they market it on Twitter, if nothing else. But I really hope it doesn't happen. I'm still surprised Men In Black III isn't being labeled MI3-D.

Yes for marketing its catchy but it tarnishes the great Transformers name.

Id much rather see them keep it as "Transformers: Such and Such".

Meh. I don't think it's a horrible name to call the fourth movie, but I'd like it better if they just stick to the usual "Transformers: <insert cool title here>"

 

Yeah, at least make the title cool. If it has a stupid title, people won't take it seriously. People already think this movie series is a joke, and to be honest, I don't blame them too much.

 

Really no more or less of a 'joke' than the Star Wars prequels, the Jaws franchise, Burton's Planet of the Apes, Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, the X-Men films, etc.. In fact, the only people who I ever hear about referring to movies such as these as 'jokes' are angsty fans in the corners of the anonymous internet. Sure, there are people who hate the movies, who dislike them and, as you said, rightfully so in some cases; as everyone is entitled to their opinion. But to call this entire movie series a joke is an exaggeration.  

 

True it's a bit of an exaggeration, but from the people I meet in real life, they just laugh at all of it. And I guess that's where I got the impression.

 

That's a shame that that's happened. I've never met a single person who's thought everything about it was a joke. Yes, I've met people who've hate RotF (and I've also met a lot of people who loved RotF, surprisingly), or who think Shia is a joke or Megan is ugly or what-have-you. Yes, there are stupid and silly things about it; things that seem to make the franchise more of a joke than it should be (*cough*humpinglubricatingballs*cough*), but as I said, it's really no more of a joke than any other sci-fi/action/comedy movie series.

 

I really don't think there's anywhere they could stick a '4' like that which wouldn't appear like a cheesy gimmick. I had thought maybe shifting the '4' out of the word 'Transformers' and into the subtitle might help, like 'Transformers: 4ce of Evil' but it still looks lame (and '4ce' looks like 'Ace').

Let's just hope they don't go the whole hog and put two '4's in the word:
