Just curious as to if other people listen to podcasts in here and what they tend to catch and listen to....

    Listen to:

    Lance and Graal,
    60-second Science,
    Deo's Shadow,
    Ask A Ninja,
    Brain Food,
    Dragonhearth,
    NOVA,
    PodRunner,
    Science Talk,
    TF Wire,
    Survival Guide to Writing Fantasy
    WPBN
    Wynyfryd's Meditations

    For Podcasts I've got:
Jurrasic Park & Lost World (not sure these count though...)
Heaven- Season 1 by Mur Lafferty
Morevi: The Chronicles of Rafe and Askana by Tee Morris
Want to get my hands on a Podio book called "The Immortals" by Tracy Hickman... I heard the first few parts in "Dragonhearth" and I'm scared and stunned.. but loving it. They aren't kidding when they say "Cautionary Tale".

I listen to Mark Levin on the radio, but if I missed the program, yeah I'll use it to hear what I missed.

The Ricky one comes highly recommended to me from some pals. But the only ones I really listen to are the They Might Be Giants one and the Penny Arcade one.

I've listened to a couple Penny-Arcade ones. Don't think they're still doing them though.

Let me preface this by saying that I love Battlestar Galactica. Its the only TV show I watch on a regular basis and my favorite show of all time. Having said that, I f*&$king can't stand the BG podcast.

I think Ronald Moore is creating a great tv series but I can't stand his podcasts. He comes off a little bit like "i'm so cool, i know you love me and my show' kind of attitude. Sometimes he prefaces a podcast by saying "oh, and I'm going to be drinking this wine and smoking this cigarette while I talk to you about my fabulous show." And then he proceeds to smoke while making the podcast. Thats so irritating. And then he doesn't even bother to do a good job about making the podcast sound good. You can here cars and random noise in the background. There are sound problems with the mic. It's all very "I don't care about the quality of this podcast, I know you want to hear every single thought I have in my head, so you will put up with anything" type of attitude. UGH.

I know its free and its an unnecessary extra that he's giving to his fans. But its also a promo tool for his show. And I frankly feel disrespected by the podcast (yeah, that sounds silly).

The most recent podcast was my 'breaking point.' It was supposed to be a podcast of a roundtable discussion on the show and reader questions. The podcast was almost 3 hours long and they had 160-something questions. It was Moore, his wife and 4-5 actors. THEY ONLY ANSWERED 5-8 QUESTIONS IN A LITTLE UNDER 3 HOURS. At least 30% of the damn podcast was about crap not related to the show and sometimes the discussion deviated to real b.s. discussion about philiosophical or whatever b.s. YOU GUYS ARE FRICKEN WRITERS AND ACTORS NOT GREAT PHILOSOPHERS OR THINKERS, GET OVER YOURSELVES.

Okay, end rant. Suffice to say, I am through with this podcast. Its basically an ego-jerk-off for Moore.

Only other podcast I listen to is Forum from my local PBS station KQED. I'm looking for more podcasts but I'm picky.
