If you ask me id have to say its between Knockout and Smokescreen maybe. Lol!
It might be Bumblebee. When Bumblebee loses his T-Cog, Knockout mocks him, wondering where his amazing speed is (which seems to be what 'Bee is known for). But Smokescreen is another definite possibility.
i'd say it's between knockout, bumble bee, and smokescreen although arcee is pretty fast aswell.
We haven't really gotten a good showing of Wheeljack's speed
Smokescreen. He can hit 150.
And almost kill a minor, cause property damage, and challenge small, fleshy creatures!
I dont know why but even though I wanna give Jackis my vote id hav rd to just give the vote to Knockout. He just seems like his is fast. Smokescreen would get my next vote.
Bumblebee's alt mode is based on the 2012 Chevy Camaro, which I believe has a top speed of 182 mph.
I have no idea what Smokescreen's alt mode is based on, but according to him, he tops out at 150.
Wheeljack's alt mode is based on the Lancia Stratos Concept, which is said to have a top speed of 198. So there you go.
KO, BB and Smokey. Wheeljack is pretty bulky in robot mode, therefore his vehicle mode is mildly slow. Arcee is the fastest motorcycle possibly unless another cycle bot comes in a future episode.
I voted Arcee without thinking... D:
Definitely Bumblebee. It was the whole point of Operation Bumblebee's little segment with him stealing the Extractor, that he was the fast scout, and that losing his t-cog made him totally ineffectual (in his eyes.)
Smokescreen said the *gauge* goes to 150 IIRC. Many cars top out much less or much more than their speedometer indicates. (otherwise, there'd be a LOT of cars that max out at 85 in the US due to the laws at the time)
I used to own a car where one of the option packages changed the gauges---and the speedometer had a higher max number by 20 mph. The car wasn't any faster than the regular version, but the gauge went higher and impressed people! (in reality, the car could go faster than either gauge version would show---not that I personally know that, but people who have maxed out that model were pretty consistent on what it could do)
Well Knockouts vehicle mode is based on a Aston Martin DB9 I think. Those usually top out at 180 to 190. As for Arcee, most motorcycles go on 120 to 150 I think. So she is fast but not the fastest.
Which means he and Bee are roughly the same, which is about what I would have guessed.
I for one would NOT want to be on a motorcycle that was going that fast.
Heh yea! Im thinkin like who the hell goes that fast on a motorcycle, unless your a professional. Only key difference between Bee and KO probably is that Knockout has more handling than Bee.
i've also noticed that for a large truck optimus is pretty damn fast too Lol an has great traction * drives up mountain *
Hell yea. Plus he was able to keep up with Knockout. Lol only in cartoons
Had to vote for Knock Out, he looks fast standing still
I would have to assume that basing their specs and abilities in their vehicle mode around how said vehicle behaves in reality has got to be a bit...short sighted.
They appear to look just like the vehicle in question but they sure as hell don't have the same parts under the hood. So perhaps they could push themselves harder than an earth vehicle could under similar circumstances.
And even then...I feel like that is putting way too much thought into it. I think we should just be happy and agog at the blurry lights and fast moving metal objects.
OP's faster than all of them.
Well in terms of top speed, I'd probably put my money on Wheeljack. Yeah, Optimus probably has the most power behind him, and without a trailer to pull its not like he's creating that much drag, but he's still a lot heavier, and not exactly aerodynamic. On top of that, don't Transformers tend to embody more about their alt modes than just how they look? Like, I get that they're not mechanically like the modes they adopt, but still.
Guess Bumblebee & Knockout would be contenders as well, but for top speed & endurance I'd go with Wheeljack.
