I've gotten to really love this show. The hosts are ridiculous, the challenges insane, and then there's The Stig, (what else can you say?). Jeremy, James, and Richard are funny as hell, and once you watch enough to understand (British) English the show is absolute gold!

Any other fans of this lunacy here?

 

I watch it occasionally. I really like the show, but I don't go out of my way to catch it.

 

Better than the Australian version. Way better.

 

I got a buddy who loves it, and makes sure I see it too.

I love the UK version. The Vietnam special had me in tears it was so funny.

The US version is painful it's so bad.

 

Watching a marathon of it right now. These UK guys are hilarious.

 

Probably my single most favorite segment. This is probably the one to show people to really get them to like the show.

Jezza, Hamster, and Captain Slow are all legends.

Me and my roomie stumbled across it on BBC America one night while flipping through channels. Been hooked ever since. Currently obtaining Series 15.

Every other version of the show is garbage. No other way to put it.

 

I'm enjoying the Marathon thats been on most of the weekend. I think I'm gonna have to find the show on DVD.

Oddly enough, my home was selected to be a Neilson family, and most of what I've watched since yesterday morning is Top Gear! Wonder what they'll make of it?

 

UKer here and not really interested in cars at all, but my girlfriend is American and has always been seriously into it (she's got everything Top Gear downloaded and watches it over and over) and does the occasional race so I ended up being exposed to it. I only really like the challenges though. I dunno how much most people are actually interested in the car reviews or just watch it for the antics of the presenters.
Anyways, I enjoy those so much that I'll happily watch the other shows Clarkeson, Hammond and May do outside of Top Gear. James May's Man Lab is genious.  

Pity Top Gear has been getting such flak recently over jokey comments the presenters have made during the shows. But that's probably a whole other discussion that might not end well here.

Love Top Gear, I watch it every week. looking forward to seeing the next episode i nabout half an hour.

 

I love how the topic is about Top Gear UK yet people still feel the need to let us know that the American (or any other versions) suck...we know. I like UK version. I don't watch it religiously but if I come across it I leave it on.

 

Love it. If Im not watching the new episodes on BBC2 Im watching repeats on Dave.

Also a big fan of Captain Slow's other programs, not such a fan of Hamster's though.

 

Absolutely, and like Chris, I don't really give a monkey's about cars either. It's just funny.
