Ditto. The only toys that look good to me are Cybertron Mode Prime and Cybertron Mode Megatron. Other than those two, I'm passing on the entire line.

Well it's a combined Cybertron/Galaxy Force collection, if I couldn't find a figure from the Cybertron line I got it from Galaxy Force instead :)
I haven't a full photo shoot of it all in one spot, although I'm planning to do so soon. Else I have some pic's of them stacked in my room in my "collection-thread".

I still haven't decided how much of Animated I'll actually be collecting. The toys look nice, but none of them are really blowing me away to the point where I must have them now. I appreciate how closely they emulate the style of the cartoon, but I think some of the designs work better as a cartoon than in actuality (particularly Starscream). Some of the toys look like absolute must-haves (Prowl), but a lot of them seem like I wouldn't mind passing on them (Lockdown, Bulkhead). So I'm kinda leaning towards getting a few, but not a lot. I'm more interested in Classics 2.0 anyway, and would rather save my money for that line.

Mind you, I also went into the movie thinking I'd only get a couple of figures, but ended up with the whole cast sitting on my shelf.

Nah. I'm only getting the toys that look really good to me. And those are few and far between. I will however buy the entire first wave of Classics 2, just like the first run. Maybe doubles too.

At first I was gonna totally skip Animated but as usual, the toys look better and better with each proto. Voyager Prime looks amazing. I cant wait to have him and Megatron along with Ultra Magnus and Blitzwing. Im buying them by the wave but if I just dont like a toy, I just dont like it. I might skip on Lockdown...

So far, the only toy I like is Prowl, and his headsculpt ruins it. I don't like the art style, and DEFINATELY don't like that the toys copy it so well. Passing on the entire line and saving space and money for Classics 2.0. No complaints though, TFs take up a lot of room and I could use a break.

I'll probably be getting all of them but I can wait to get them gradually rather than buy em waves at a time.

Mostly Decepticons, definately Megatron. He's too cool. Prime's okay, but he's not as impressive as he was in the three other previous lines: Cybertron, Classics, and the Movie.

All true for me too. :D  Now I have never brought all of anything, ever, not even tv shows on dvd. But I think Hasbro should be offering a damn subscription service, each wave delivered to your door fresh from your country's distribution center and with an online "forthcoming shipment" list where you can uncheck any figures that you might somehow not want.

This is the internet age after all and shops just piss me off these days. :p

I'm still saving for Classics first. I'll more likely go completist on that. But I'll probabaly end up buying more animated than I planned if I like their toon portrayal. For sure I'll get Bumblebee, Blackarachnia, and Sentinel Prime. Possibly Prowl, Ratchet, Blitzwing, Megatron, and Starscream. As for cameo characters - Swoop (if he's one of the Dinobots who shows up), Arcee if they make one of her, Blurr if they make of of him, and Wreck-Gar if they make one of him.

I've never completed a line, and I don't think I'll be starting now. So far, the only figures in Animated I'll be picking up are Prowl, Lockdown, and Lugnutz.

Blitzwing because I love Astrotrain and Blizwing as characters. And Blizwing has never had a 'update' figure.

And the Dinobots, because they are dinobots. Chinlock!

Well well well, if it isn't Mr. "I hated the movie before it came out and now I love every second of it." Let's see how you feel in about 6 months time buddy.
