This damn movie has forced me to relive my childhood and buy 21 Transformers. They are as follows:

    Movie:
    Barricade (2)
    Brawl
    Bumblebee (4 concept, 1 classic, 1 EOAH 2-pack)
    Dropkick (3)
    Ironhide
    Jazz G1 paint (2)
    OP
    Starscream G1 paint

    Classic OP (2)

Collection #6 Megatron (on the way)

Who else buys two or more of their favorites? Who thinks I'm crazy and would take that money and buy other characters?

3 dropkicks and 4 ccbb's? Unless it's for repaints, or giving them to someone else, I'd put the money elsewhere. 2 is my limit(1 misb, 1 open), but I rarely do that.

I think the only toy I have more than one of is WST Prime, Sideswipe, BB and Starscream, but that's because I got the second ones in a lot with the Prime trailer that I was after.

I personally don't understand the appeal of having more than one of the same figure, but I'm certainly not opposed to it. Whatever makes you happy!

I won an Ultra Jetscream(? the blue jet from Beast Machines) when I already had a chrome-worn one

Two is also normally my limit, but I've purchased five of the Target G1 Starscream repaints: 1 Boxed, 1 Opened, 1 For my desk at work, and the other two are presents for my Brothers-In-Law....

The only TF I have 2 of are the Robotmasters seeker mold as TC and SW, for obvious reasons. I cant appreciate a mold if I have a bunch lying around. But hey, some dudes dig that.

    Depends I guess...

I have no huge love for Mirage, but I three Alts. One MISB, one open, and one with reprolabels on him.

I have like 6 Masterpiece Primes because of the various editions. Though usually all I generally buy is one pf each mold.

Two is my limit and that pretty rare, just mainly when I like a toy enough to want one to open and one to keep MiB.

Wow. That's a lot of doubles dude. Just out of curiousity... why do you have 3 Dropkicks and 4 CCBBs? Not that I care, I'm just curious myself. I can see getting one to open and one to keep in package, but for the life of me I'm not sure why anyone would want more than two of a figure... unless you're like some of the guys whom get extras of the ones they really like to display at work on their desk.

I usually try and limit myself to 2-3 of the same type of figure if I like them. Once I have the room, I would like to ideally display my figures in robot mode, alt mode and MISB/MOC together.

However, I have been buying Transformer Lots lately and I have ended up with 10 Twin Twists, 7 Slags and 9 kickbacks in various conditions.

aside from being a g1 prime/convoy nut, I don't see the point in owning more than one of modern tfs, unless it's for customizing.

No, I don't buy more than one unless it's a G1 drone, like Insecticons or Sharkticons. I find these at garage sales or Goodwill, I pick them up.

When Alts were out and about, I started with two of each...one to open, and one misb.....any others after that were for customizing purposes

I'm a one each guy, and I buy repaints

I can't afford multiples at all.

I used to buy two alts a piece until I lost my job. From then on out its always been one of each unless its something like a masterpiece figure or a seeker to repaint into one that wasn't a wide release.

I really like the concept BB and Dropkick. I have two concept BB's opened and displayed: one in vehicle form, one in robot. One has a loose right shoulder and the other has a loose right elbow, which pisses me off. I know I'll end up opening another one, whether it be a regular concept or the battle damaged, hoping that one will have tight shoulder and elbow joints. Also, when the concept BB I have displayed in robot form is in vehicle form, the right front wheel doesn't spin when the toy is rolled, which irritates me. This is why he is stuck in robot form.

There is a nephew involved in my toy buying thought process; perhaps someday I'll hand over some of these to him ...

I bought 3 GI JOE Sigma 6 Iron grenadiers but I repainted two of them. Otherwise I never buy doubles.
