Like Grimlock I decided to make a who should voice whom thread for Shockwave. Corey Burton the voice for the orginal G1 Shcokwave is an obvious choice or if not him Steve Blum can give it a go since he voiced Shockwave in WFC

However I would really like to see him voiced by Ron Perlmen the man who did Hellboy and Slade from Teen Titans. The voice Ron Perlmen used for Slade in Teen Tians fits Shockwave in a lot of ways. It's cold cruel and scary sounding which fits Shockwave's character perfectly in my opinon.

What are your thoughts?

 

When was Shockwave confirmed for Prime?
Anyway I think Burton he did a great job voicing Shockwave in Animated I think he should return again.

 

I'd be disappointed if it was anyone but Corey Burton.

Brent Spiner. I'd love to hear Shockwave sounding like a stiffer, colder Data.

Marc Alaimo's voice would better fit another character. Someone more flamboyant.

I liked Corey Burton as Shockwave, but I don't think he should voice him in Prime. I'm not sure who should though. I'll decide later

You've got a point about Spiner though, and in either case, more Trek actors would be a plus in my books any day. Truthfully, getting Jeffery Combs was amazing in itself, but you know.

If he's the classic cold, logical Shockwave I'd like Corey Burton, I wouldn't object to someone else if the voice fit though. On a related note I'd like to see a Shockwave that loses his cool sometimes, I think Burton's Shockwave could sound awesome in rage mode.

To me.....I always thought Jeremy Irons' Scar voice would fit for a cool Flatline.


But I say Ron Perlman using his Deathstroke/Slade voice for Shockwave.
