    I think:
    Autobots:

Optimus Prime - Kiefer Sutherland ( My name is Optimus Prime and today is the worst day of my life)

Ironhide- Peter Cullen (can't beat the original ironhide especially after energon)

Bumblebee- Perhaps, Dan Gilvezan or if his voice has noticibly aged, Kirby Morrow .

Jazz- Some one with the same voice and character as Scatman Crothers (or Human Transmutation, anyone?*)

    Ratchet- Richard Newman

    and the Decepticons:

Megatron- Sir Ian McKellen (He plays evil good and he's Gandalf!)

Starscream- Michael Dobson - He's good

    Soundwave- Frank Welker. Duh.

Devestator- David Kaye (imagine him saying "Prepare for Extermination"

Brawl- Don't know what the G1 character sounds like)

Vortex- (Don't know what the G1 character sounds like)

Scorponk- Don't know what the G1 character sounds like but only the psycologically confused Energon Version)

Those are pretty much who i would chose.

Just save money and have Frank Welker voice them all as slimer.

Cullen and Welker as Prime, Ironhide and Megatron, Soundwave, the guy that did Cobra Commander in the Spytroops and Valor Vs Venom Joe DVD's should do Starscream Personally I would like less "Big Names" as the Transformers and more professional Voice Actors, they have been getting screwed as of late with the big names taking all the voice acting parts.

James Spader, easily. He's incredibly smug and into himself, much like Alan Shore in Boston Legal.

Personally, if Cullen is to be involved at all, I'd prefer he did either Prime or Ironhide, but not both. I always found his voices for those characters on the G1 cartoon sounded too similar, particularly in scenes where Prime and Ironhide were talking to each other.

Anyway, I'm not too particular about the voice actors, but a few picks:

    - Optimus Prime - Garry Chalk, channeling BW Optimus Primal more than the bland Energon/Cybertron Prime.
    - Megatron - David Kaye, with a touch of mechanized synthesizer effect.
    - Brawl - Christopher Walken. Just for the hell of it.
    - Soundwave - James Earl Jones, with some mechanization added in.
    - Ironhide - Peter Cullen. I think the original actors should get some role, but not the major characters.
    - Scorponok and Vortex - Frank Welker. It sounds like Scorponok might be some kind of drone and Welker's good at doing 'animal' type sounds. Vortex to give Welker a speaking part.
    - Jazz - Samuel L Jackson. Again, just for the hell of it.
    - Starscream - Not sure exactly, but something different than Latta's take (which was annoying) or Parker's version (which was just high-pitched shouting).
    - Bumblebee - Ian Corlett, channeling mid-BW Cheetor.

    Optimus Prime - George Clooney

    Megatron - Ed Harris

    Ironhide - Peter Cullen

    Starscream - James Woods

Jazz - Tom Hanks (à la Woody from Toy Story)

Bumblebee - The best of Bruce Springsteen, Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd and any other bands I like.

Mickey Rourke's voice is really low, gruff and ominous. Him as Megatron would be pretty neat.

This is from a thread from waaaay back...
    Prowl: James Woods
    Bumble Bee: Micheal J Fox
Jazz: John Amos or James Avery
Optimus Prime: Lawrence Fishburne as Morpheus or James Avery
Megatron: Keith David, Clancy Brown or Micheal Ironside
Shockwave: Russel Crowe as Maximus from Gladiator
Starscream: Mark Hamill as The Joker?
    Ironhide: John Goodman
Teletran 1 or equivalent: Cullen if not maybe Billy West?
Soundwave:Welker even I'll admit it just has to be him.

    Unicron: James Earl Jones
Who can't hear him say "Greetings Megatron, I am Unicron and I have summoned you" and "Then it pleases me to be the first"?

I wouldn't really mind Will Smith as Jazz. They'd have to alter his voice to make him sound robot-y, but as an actor.....he's actually quite talented. He's got voice work under his belt as well.
