From all the alternates continuities which is the strongest TF to have served unicron? It pops into my head Galvatron, Nemesis Prime, Razorclaw and The Fallen. My vote goes for Razorclaw, he is my least favorite, BUT he had all those vok's mystic powers.

I would definitely argue the Fallen. He's one of the Original 13 - you don't get much stronger than that. Not to mention he is the only TF (I believe) that we have ever seen use what may well be supernatural powers, such as when he makes the Autobots' guns crumple up, Jedi style.

Uhh, Shokaract, anyone? The 'bot from the old Botcon stories that conquered the universe and whose existence might as well equal "Unicron wins?"

Nemesis Prime has the "Dead Matrix". He can take down Primus. I think that says it all.

After reading the Galvatron Spotlight issue, I really think that Furman and Figueroa are setting Thunderwing up to be a "Heral of Unicron", and I don't think that any of those other guys could even try to touch him... even The Fallen.

Wasn't it implied, he was trying to resurect some kind of something or other for the "Chaos Bringer" I think. I could be wrong though, it's been a while since I've read the ones with The Fallen in them.

Yeah, Thunderwing seems to be this God-like Transformer these days. He was a crazed psycho overtaken by the lure of the Matrix in the original Marvel series, and now he's some evil scientist who's mastery of the Pretenders caused him to pretty much destroy Cybertron.

But I'd say Nemesis Prime. Basically Optimus Prime tortured and killed so many times (only to be reanimated) that the only thing he knows is evil.

The Fallen has two things going for him to be a herald:

    1) He is a child of Primus who went astray, a "Fallen Angel". That kind of implies he went over to the other side, Unicron.
    2) He was trying to break the seal of Primus, saying how he would summon back both Unicron and Primus. Almost as though Primus was trying to hide himself, and that in the process of his being revealed, Unicron would be able to home in on him.

Of course, you could also argue that The Fallen served a third party, one who wanted both Primus and Unicron back on the battlefield. I've heard references to a "Chonarchitect" who was meant to be on the same level as Primus, and also the Liege Maximo sought to ascend to the level of "Unicron's Kind", which also implies there's others out there, on some higher plane of existance.

Unless, of course, you take the line that Unicron and Primus are the only two of their kind.

The IDW series do seem to be setting something up, though I think it's all to do with Nova Prime rather than Unicron. It all depends on what's on the far side of that wormhole and what is actually in "The Dead Universe". Perhaps it is something that Unicron consumed, but right now it is early days. No real proof the big guy is back there, and I think Simon Furman is avoiding using him right now too.

I'm sticking with Nemesis Prime. Can't go wrong with huge cannon of doom and Dead matrix.

Wasn't Nemesis Prime subserviant to Ramjet? I thought in the club comic that NP was taking orders from Ramjet. Haven't kept up on all the continuenties though so not really sure.

Well, Nemesis Prime was in a way but IMHO both had the same goals. Ramjet didn't seem wrapped too tight, so NP might have been humoring him for the common goal of destroying Primus for Unicron.
