So Ive noticed in a few instances that the 'bots suffer name changes on the trip across the pond. So, how about a list of the Japanese names/English names in the cases where they were outright changed, and the name of the toy series/show.

    Example:
    Bumble, Japan/Perceptor, America (Armada)-Transformers:Universe

I'd assume SOMEBODY has a list somewhere, because we make a lot of jokes about those name changes on here.

Not sure whom, though. I know Nevermore has indicated amusement/interest in them.

Speaking of, here's a comprehensive guide for those who want to learn how to read Japanese Transformers names (including attempts at explanations on oddities such as "Metroflex"). :)

That is a pretty sweet tutorial you got there.

Well, actually not - it will only help you learning to read foreign words/names written in a Japanese character set that's specifically intended for spelling foreign words. Actual Japanese is more difficult. :)

The liner notes to the Metrodome DVD sets (Headmasters & Masterforce) have a bunch of tables with the names on both sides. Plus, Remy's homepage has a useful list with all the Minicons and their Micron alter-egos.
