100$ HASBRO wants me to go bankrupt. I don't even know how I will get this
We haven't even seen it, so how do we know that $100 is too expensive?
yes, how do we actually know construticons will cost $100 ?
Hey you never now it might be filled with ultras or voyagers but still 100$ Im not even 16 yet and I'm freaking out because I have no idea how to afford it. Maybe B-day or Christmas I don't know.
Are you crazy? You have like half a year to save up for the toys! Just save like $15/month...we can assume that Devastator won't be part of the May 29th toy release, because Hasbro won't want to reveal the suprise until after the movie release date...
Is that TOO Important to get Construticons???
i love how people invent prices out of midair----then freakout on the "invented drama" of the unaffordability of the skyhigh price!
first...hasbro has never had a price point of $100....back in the day Fortress maximus was in that range...but nothing in the last 15 years....
the most two expensive have been that POS bumblebee for $79? and the 25th prime for $59.....
Second...we have no idea what price points are going to be set for the movie toys...WTF would hasbro launch a $100 price point combiner?
yeah that would fly off the shelves even fast than 25th ann. prime....
Try getting a little realistic with your drama filled posts...then maybe we could atleast have a thread based in reality.....
Even if it is 100.00.
That's around half a year to save.
I'm just not eating this semester of college. I shall be
sustained on a diet of constructicon goodness in the summer.
That's how I'm saving up for my Summer TFs this year. $50 from every paycheck since November has gone into an envelope marked "Transformers Fund" which will cover all my toys and tickets this summer. And hopefully I'll have something left over...
Last I knew the $100 price for a Gestalt set was proven fact for the RotF line, along with a $30 price point for another Gestalt set/sets, which is believed to be the Superion set and possibly the Bruticus set. Personally I'm not sure if I'll get the set at all. I might, I might not. It really depends on how good it looks, and whether or not the individual bots have their own bot-modes. As for saving up for it, that part shouldn't be too hard for me, as I've saved up for much more in the past. It's just a matter of saving up while trying to get other figures I want to get at the same time, and also collecting two lines at the same time (well, four if you seperate Movie, Animated, and Universe into their own categories).
Alright it has been confirmed that there is a $100 combiner in the Target computer,so
who do you think it is then Easter Bunnicon Combiners,so don't say there isn't.Also
in case you forgot there was the MP DVD Optimus Prime which was $80 back in 2007.
So its not unimaginable that there is a $100 constructicon set because there is such a
thing as "Inflation".
Also I don't need to save up,cause a few days before or after the release I am
getting $16,000.00 in a settlement that happened in an accident back in 2006,
and even tho not all of it is going to Hasbro for there Movie figures I will spend
probably $1000 or $1500 on TF's for the release.
Pretty much as long as we're paying that much money for our toys they'll keep being that price.
And we're all suckers, so it's a given that it'll happen!
Yeah, As much as 25th prime shelfwarmed during the Christmas rush and After-Christmas rush, I really dont see Hasbro doing that. I think a leader class price range would be a best.
And to be honest we don't even know if that 100.00 DCI is even the constructicons. For all we know it could be a Optimus Prime and Jetfire Leader Class 2-pack.
Anyone who can afford like 8 deluxes, which is alot of people here.
Whilst a lot of people could afford it, it's a lot of money to blow on just ONE item (essentially) when there are new deluxes, voyagers, leaders, scouts, etc.
For me at least, that's one month's quota of toy buying. Saving is really my only option, but still - it's a lot.
If $100 translates to £100 here, I very much doubt I'll be getting it unless it goes on sale. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't coming the same time as the rest of the movie toys.
I don't know if any of you bought Fortress Maximus back in the 80's when he was new, but he was $99.99 at TRU back in the day. So $100.00 in todays prices aren't that bad. I was making a lot less when I bought him so I know I'll probably pick up 2 gift sets. If not for the enjoyment, at least for the investment.
Wait? Whaa? I think I missed something here entirely. Anyone mind filling me in?
Where has $100 come from? Last I heard the 'combining' Devastator would be Supreme-class.
