My current Prime is the oldie but goodie Classics OP, and TR Megs is filling the role of Decepticon leader quite nicely.

 

My current /main/ Optimus and Megatron are the Masterpiece ones... but there are so many other ones around here that it seems like a multiverse convention  

 

I have a lot of Optimus Prime but the best in my colection is AOE DMK03, as an avid scale model builder this was a treat re-creating the childhood hero.

Megatron, the favorite is hobo from DOTM.

 

HFTD Battle Blades Optimus and ROTF voyager Megatron (when I get him)

 

MP-10 and MP-36 for my MP collection.

Planet X Prime and MMC Megatron (when it comes out) for my CHUG.

 

Currently Cloud Optimus Prime is my Optimus and United Megatron is my Megatron.

 

Classics Prime and United Megatron fill the roles in my main Generations display, where I try to have the best representations of G1 characters (secondary/older Generations figures go in a separate display). But I'm considering switching them out for CW Prime and TR Megs.

 

If I had to just pick one of each, it would G1 Optimus and Megatron.

Further breakdown:
For my G1/G2 collection it is the G1 Optimus and Megatron.
For movie, it's the RotF leader class figures
For movie Cyberverse, it's the DotM "action scene" figures
For my CHUG collection, it is the voyager figures from the "One Shall Stand, One Shall Fall" Platinum set
For my tiny Cyberverse CHUG collection, it's the RTS figures
For my tiny Cyberverse Prime collection, it's Beast Blade Optimus (don't have a Megatron)
I think that covers it haha.

I'm using MP10-V for my CHUGs leader and my custom painted TR Megatron as my decepticon captain.


for MP I'm using CW Leader Megatron until I finally decide which MP style Megatron I want. Real MP10 is too big to fit anywhere right now so he is in the closet bin.

 

very hard question

i would have to say combiner wars optimus and megatron, they arent the best, but i think they are the best updates of the characters up to this point.

close second is rotf optimus

still need to get mp10 v...it won't replace my current autobot shelf classics prime but i still want it.

anywho....my current go to optimus is good old classics prime....that's gonna be hard to replace. so much i love about it
my megatron used to be the henkei megatron but he's been replaced by titans return megatron.
