Admittedly, doing the "Wreckers" and "Mayhem Attack Squad" thing is basically me having an excuse to put Non-G1/Classics characters in the display to save space.

Mine would basically be non-show G1 characters, divided into Ground and Air squads. Mostly Classics series toys & bios.

Ground:
-Straxus: Commanded the Cybertron Decepticons after Megatron disappeared, but surprisingly still loyal to him. "Killed" after the Earth-bots & cons returned to Cybertron the first time, but came back with his Generations body. Loves to make "clone" bodies of various bots.
-Nemesis Prime (Universe 2): Roamed wild for a while after his creator Straxus was "killed" but brought back under control when said creator turned up "alive".
-Bludgeon (RoTF Voyager): Served under Straxus and continues in this squad, but found Metallikato on his own and tends to follow his own "moral code".
-Fracture: Arrived on Cybertron and was captured/re-programmed by Straxus.

Air Team:
-Thunderwing: Commander, split from Straxus command after finding Megatron was alive, always a strong believer in Air Superiority. May or may not have Matrix affinity.
-Dreadwind & Darkwing: Just "grew up" under Straxus & Thunderwing's command.
-Lugnut: Always fanatically loyal to Megatron and his "vision". Still happy to (try to) enforce Megatron's will and loyalty to his cause. Gladly acts as a spy on both Ground and Air teams.

If I had picked up Universe 2 Skyfall, he and Stormcloud would probably take Darkwing & Dreadwinds spots on the Air team.

Anybody have a team of Classics-esq figures re-purposed as Squadron X? Just wondering which figures could serve this purpose.

 

I know a modded Cyclonus would probably work well for Macabre.

 

That seems to be a good choice. And sticking with Classics-esq molds I could see Ferak from Scourge with some mimor work. To bad there are not alot of reference pics to go of.

 

Wow man, I was going to type up my team but it's going to look lame as hell compared to the awesomeness of yours. Sweet job  

 

Yeah. Based on the one good shot in LSOTW, Ferak would probably be best served with a modified Cyclonus head on a Scourge body. (Man, those flying 'cons love their bunny ears/horns). Earthquake could probably be repurposed out of some bulldozer-bot (though who, I have no idea), and the close-up of Tornado makes him look a little feminine, almost Slipstream-like. Perhaps one of those Gundam 00 kits that people use to make Slipstream customs, with a new head?

The rest, I have no idea. Most I've seen is a Cybertron Undermine repurposed as Fang, but there's barely any resemblance there.

For Earthquake the orange combiner dozer from RID keeps popping in my head but I'd like to find something deluxe sized. Wonder if there is a oversized KO version.

Nope, but search for Slipstream in the Radicons. You'll find them.

I think it's either the 'Archer' mobile suit or the 'Arios' suit. Possibly both.

Universe Sunstorm and his Mini-Con (I can never remember his name). I also use the Street Speed Mini-Con team combined into Perceptor that came with Sunstorm as another Decepticon. Cybertron Lugnutz, and that's about it! I don't have enough Decepticons to set up a group as my "Anti-Wreckers"   Oh, I also have RoTF Thrust, but he gets to stand on the Movieverse shelf when I finally get around to building my shelf.  

 

I do it a bit differently, since I have DOTM Skyhammer, Half Track, Whirl, ROTF Armorhide, Brawn, Breakaway, and HFTD Tomahawk as my Autobot/Maximal Wreckers.
