I know there are a few lists of "Wreckers" from various comics, but who are the core members that defines it for you? I know Roadbuster is one that everyone brings up, so I guess, I am just asking to see who do you consider as the core team in any continuity.

 

Springer, kup, perceptor, twin twist, topspin

 

I haven't read many of the comics beyond "Last Stand of the Wreckers", and some snippets from the TFWiki, but personally these are the characters that stand out as Wreckers to me.

Others include Rotorstorm, Ironfist, Guzzle, and Pyro, but those are my preffered headliners.

 

Well, Springer needs to be in there. Maybe Roadbuster and Whirl... definitely the Jumpstarters. I loathe sniper Perceptor and don't think very much of Drift so nertz to them. Like to say Rack 'n' Ruin, but he's not really much of anything as he'd never had enough face time to have much of a personality beyond "WRECK AND RULE."

Oh, and sad little Ironfist.  

 

Springer is the main one, I guess impactor, topspin and twintwist, they rest just kinda made up the numbers and deal damage.

to me, the Wreckers don't need any other members than those. I don't mind the additions that were made in LSOTW, but for the most part, I cringe every time someone decides to use the name just to make a character sound credible (Aligned Wheeljack, the DOTM guys)

 

But...those are Roadbuster, Top Spin and Leadfoot!

Two of those three are Wreckers.

 

Springer, Twin Twist, Impactor, Primal Prime and Roadbuster are the names that immediately spring to mind when I hear "wrecker."

 

A fellow Primal Prime character I see. I wish the character got more recognzion.

 

I guess for me it's Springer, the Jumpstarters, Roadbuster...if you have those and some other guys, you've got the Wreckers. LSotW didn't even have Roadbuster in the main story and it was fine.

 

Kup, Springer, Whirl, Roadbuster, The Jumpstarters. No more. Those aren't necessarily my favorite characters, it just seems when you add guys beyond those guys, it seems less elite. More like the writers just shoehorn their favorite characters into the group.

 

They are using the names of G1 Wreckers, but they have jack all in common with said characters.

 

Roadbuster, of course. Impactor, Springer, Whirl.

 

Pyro could have been portrayed a better bot, it's a pity...
