i havent bought nor will i buy the Movie TF figs as they look like shit to me. and there are way to many repaints in that line anyway lol.

 

i will only buy the new molds of the characters that are in the movie.

I'll make my decisions like I normally do. One at a time.

 

I'm gonna try to get only the icecream truck and Jetfire.







Aaaaaand I'll end up buying every last figure.

 

From the sounds of it they will not be "reissuing" toys from the first film (aside from a few repaints which is to be expected) and characters like Optimus, Ironhide, Starscream, etc... will all be getting brand new toy molds.

 

I'll pick and choose from that line just like I did from the first movie. I managed to only buy 3 from the first one, so here's hoping the damage is just as minimal.

But you cannot pass up an evil ice cream truck... right?

 

Ask me again when we actually have pictures of some TFTM2 figures besides that one Hot Wheels car thing. I really like the Movie aesthetic in general, but it's hard to make a judgment about this with absolutely no information about what they're actually releasing, IMO.

 

I'm not but for the reason that I'm pretty much only a Binaltech/Alternators, Masterpiece, and bust collector.

 

Jetfire, Soundwave, and Devastator are probably all buys for me. I'll be sorely disappointed if they have awful molds though. Oh, and if they repaint any more Cybertron figures into Off-Screen characters, I'll definitely buy those.

 

I will purchase none because I like characters with traditional aesthetics over non-descript shard monsters.

As if I can resist new toys!   I even tried avoiding getting big into collecting them last summer again, and all I bought at first were some of the Legends class figures and I was like "Be strong, you can't buy all of these...". Yeah that so didn't last. So then I was like "I'll just buy Autobots." Yeah that didn't last either.

 

I will buy only the new characters, since I dont see how they can improve figures like Bumblebee and Prime, I think we will have to wait and see if it is true.

 

Definitely new characters. Returning guys depends on how awesome the toy is compared to the first movie version. Do I really need another Bumblebee, or a different Starscream? Totally depends on what he's like of course.

 

I will buy them if they look good. Simple as that. They have to look better than the old movie toys though, cause that just ain't cutting it.

 

If there are Constructicon toys, and they just so happen to merge into Devs, that's the only movie toy(s) I will get....I mean, come on, it will be Devs!!

Unless there's something else that just totally blows my mind, and I find it to be a must have.

 

I'd love it if they do a new version of Ratchet with more paint apps on his face and his proper movie weapons.

 

I probably won't buy movie line stuff unless they do new real gear (with traditional designs) or good repaints from other lines (Breakaway, Fracture, etc.).

exactly. new ones, definitely..the older ones, if the mold is different, definitely..
if mold is same but with a new paint job, then it depends on how good the paint job is   for some reason, i like the movie toys...guess thats coz my whole interest started with the movie and my first toys were movie toys  

 

Yeah, this is true... I already have three Bumblebees (POS Camaro, Concept Camaro and Stealth)... I don't think I'll really need another. But we'll see... if they end up being more awesome, I'll probably cave.
