Do YOU like Bumblebee?

  1. I do. I find him charming/funny in his demeanor and sarcastic commentary.

  2. I am indifferent. He hasn't registered enough for me to form a solid opinion.

  3. I don't. I'm not a fan of his not-so sweet/cuddely persona or his almost sadistic sense of humour.

I do, but it seems some people don't. I think he's the best "little bastard" character we've ever gotten, to the point where I'd be dissapointed if he ever actually stopped being such.

How could someone not like BB? He rocks. Sometimes, I think he's the only one with common sense in the group. Playing video games > watching monitors. Who doesn't know that?!

He is VERY different from his G1 incarnation, the G1 Bumblebee was alot easier going and less up himself.

That said I do still like Animated Bee, it's nice to see a slightly different take on him, though I can definitely see why he would grate on some people.

He was a real asshole in that Elite Guard training episode.

He's definitely one of the better teenbots out there. The only problem I had with him is that he was so full of himself, but since his stingers couldn't do a thing do Decepticons, he really couldn't back it up. That's one of the reasons why I loved Transwarped- it more or less fixed this problem.

Yeah, his "worker-grade" stingers pretty much just annoyed the Decepticons. (like being stung by a bee) It's cool that his combat stingers were able to knock Omega Supreme to one knee.

My opinion is that I like this new 'Bee very much. Sure, he's the annoying kid of the group, but he's also very much the comic relief in most cases, like in "Nature Calls," where he goes drama-queen when Prowl breaks his media player. He's also the only one who really stands up to Optimus in "Megatron Rising" concerning Sari and Prime taking the key away.

I don't like him, but I never like G1 Bumblebee either, just for different reasons. The only Bumblebee I have actually liked was Movie Bumblebee, and he couldn't talk. Coincidence?

Wasp had his chance, and the best he could come up with was switching places with him. Pretty weak, Waspy

It's as if Rattrap from Beast Wars was dipped in yellow paint. :D  That's what I like about Bumblebee. He's a wisecracking little bastard and I like it.

I think he some pretty hilarious moments. I was worried I'd hate him after the first 1-2 episodes, but ended up really liking him.

That's the cool thing about an ongoing series - it gives you time to get to know the characters if/when they're developed properly. Case in point: I hated this version of Prime for pretty much the entire first season, began to like him more & more throughout the second season, and now think he's a pretty wicked character who's been developed exceptionally well.

Animated Bumblebee is okay but he'll never replace G1 Bumblebee in anyway shape or form with me.

Animated Bee's an insubordinate punk whom I love to see getting beaten up by the Decepticons.

I miss eager, helpful and good-natured G1 Bumblebee.

I do like him, but not as much as I hoped I might from the outset. Believe it or not, I actually rated Bumblebee's character as being one of my highlights of the "Transform & Roll Out" pilot; I found him to be an affably sunny yet fundamentally earnest sort of character, as effective and well-intentioned as any of the other Autobots despite his wackier nature. Since then, however, I do feel as though the writers have been a little too eager to simply shoehorn him into the "upstart young punk" bracket for the sake of simplifying character arcs and moral content, which I've found disappointing; as he is, he's a decent stab at a headstrong-little-brother-type character in the Teen Titans Beast Boy mould, but at the same time I do feel as though he could have been a little more sophisticated than that, and that the audience would have liked him more for it...
