Arcee is a bike, but transformers into an average size tf. G1 Groove is also a bike and also transforms into a bot and the leg of a bigger bot. So who is the biggest mass shifter of the two?

    Broadside - 1986 Transformers - TFW2005

    Oh oh, of the two..

Hard to say exactly without seeing measurements as Groove is a significantly heavier bike than what Arcee would be in alt modes...

On an equivalent scale in regular robot modes I think they actually wouldn't be that far off in mass shift percentage. As for the leg of Defensor well that's another story..

    Of the two, probably Groove.

Broadside, Blast-off, Astrotrain, the Aerialbot limbs (against the Concorde main body), and Soundwave are far worse in terms of shifting.

    Probably Groove.

Arcee's mass shifting is just nuts though.

Broadside is an average-ish sized TF that turns into a jet and an aircrafter carrier. He looks at those two and gives them the finger.

But out of the two you suggested Arcee does it more obviously.

Everyone bitches about Broadside's mass shifting... Hehe, he's hardly the worst offender.

Cyclonus and Astrotrain are the WORST. They're normal sized transformers that turn into space craft that are as large to most Transformers as real spacecraft is to us.

Remember the scene when Devastator formed together INSIDE Astrotrain? How about when Megatron PILOTED Cyclonus?

Of the two, probably Groove, given that he has to mass-shift two different ways.

In general, I nominate the Constructicons and Aerialbots from the first Dreamwave TF miniseries. The individual team members mass shift from the size of regular TFs in robot mode (~30 - 40 feet) to components capable of forming combiners that are several hundred feet tall.

Soundwave was small enough for spike to carry? Megatron only became a robotic hand sized gun, not human sized

    Small Bike > Average Bot
Small Bike > Average Bot > Limb that's somehow simultaneously the same size as a ambulance, a police car, and a helicopter

    Obviously Groove

I vote Groove, namely because he's a bike that in combiner limb mode becomes as big as at least a police cruiser (Streetwise)

Don't forget the Menasor cover picture, where the limbs somehow become cars as long as a few building floors are tall.

I think at least once he turned into a gun a human could use. My memory could be faulty.

But he's notable because he's madly out of scale with himself.

With others you can kind of hide it, but Broadside essentially turns from a plane to a ship designed to carry dozens of planes. That's like a car turning into a parking garage.

^ Cyclonus and Astrotrain transforming into ships large enough they could sit in the cockpit and pilot them makes them even more madly out of scale.

Imagine a human turning into a space station.
