    Hi

Just wondering from the people that have movie Ratchet, how does he compare to the alternators as far as size in both modes? I like the idea of Ratchet as a H2 ambo, but with an alt head and hands. Any idea if this will work?

    Regards

He's too small to be in-scale with alts... though he does look alright standing with them. The vehicle modes are just off though. He's sort of a miniature H2.

Thanks for the help guys. If he still fits in bot mode and doesn't look ridiculous as car then maybe ill get him still & bash to give an alt like feel. How does the Ironhide work out? I seen green Ratchet other day but not Ironhide

Ironhide's pretty badass. Not in scale with the Alts, but he fits pretty well. Save for his "oil drums".

The only one of the two (Ratchet & Ironhide) that we know is getting a G1 repaint is Ratchet, and we haven't even had a rumor of a G1 repaint of Ironhide, so I wouldn't put too much faith in waiting for one.

hmm damn. what head attachment do these guys have as far as transplant possibility???
If they were painted, do the joints rub excessivly that would ruin the paint job? I like the idea of these guys but want G1ish homages - I know they are new and different, but i like the older look

    Regards

    JL

PS - anyone got bot comparison pics with alts??? just curious. how would ratchet go with a prowl head, Ironhide with a Skids - JL

Yup, I'm sure the Automorph stuff is what made the difference.

Movie Ratchet toy is awesome. I think he's my fav. All the joints move smooth and his poses just glide into form

I agree. He is my favorite movie toy so far. The funny thing is that he basically looks like I would if I was a TF, lol. Well, other than the head, lol. I'm not sure if that's a compliment to him or me, lol.

They're kinda of Small i compared my Classics Optimus with Alt.Swindle and even if they're the same price,They kinda of Midgets so Classics Bumblebee and Cliffjumper would fit perect as minibots.
