Ok i have had this guy since forever, i don't even remember where i got it but it was before i even had internet. Is this Diaclone or something ? It's got no date on it or anything, just "Industria Argentina" .. I have seen them pop up on ebay once and while but very rarely .

Anyone have any idea about a Value for him cause i have this listed as part of a trade offer that im offering to anyone wanting to get rid of an MP megatron.

    Thanks in advance :)

He's a Argentinian in origin. Made by the Antex toy company. Find more info here... You are looking for the Antex logo with the heading "Argentina" (about half way down the page).

Pretty rare little guys... if I knew you had it I would have traded you some stuff a long time ago!

Well, I meant that as a joke. I don't think the rarest alternate-color Minibots go for that much more than $100... but I'm not exactly in the business of collecting them myself.

Some of the South American minis can be pretty pricey, mostly the Optimus v Malingus guys go for over $100 (I still need the "wine" Gears, Silver Cliffjumper, and green Bumblejumper myself)

The Argentina Cliffjumpers were pretty common for a while, but seem to have dried up recently (save maybe the Windcharger variants). I'm not sure what the going rate is nowadays, especially for a MOC specimen...

Yeah, this would be the Argentinian version, much like there are Italian versions of G1 products. Not knock offs, as they were licensed I believe, but for being MOSC probably fairly rare.

This link has lots of info on the various colours of minibots released around the world:

    http://www.geocities.com/futuristgroup/vminibots.html

This is Maz's article page, lots of interesting info here (minibots under IGA):

    http://www.tf-1.com/index.html

    TFSource's articles (again by Maz):

    http://www.tfsource.com/articles.html

As a disclaimer, you could spend the rest of your life looking for all the various colour/sticker/chrome/moulding differences, there are a LOT of variations out there!

The Antex bots are reasonably common, the white Cliffjumper, along with the metallic brown one are probably the rarest. I've got a spare MOSC green Cliffjumper, as well as my loose one. The carded one was on ebay recently, went for about £8/$16, buyer flaked, so I still have it. I'd post pics but I can't figure out how to! For a valuation, I'd estimate the white Cliffjumper at a max of double the green one. As I said the white ones are rarer, and the card looks in good condition, the card is not the same quality as the US releases, and is prone to warping, a completely straight one will add to the value.

    Hope some of this helps.

I can't imagine it's very high... The Antex products weren't just common, they flooded the market a few years back. They went from a price of well over $100 at the start to less than $20 each in a matter of months. That led me to believe that these were little more than knock-offs made in Argentina (rather than China). The quality is OK, but I've never seen any evidence that these are truely licensed.

    Hi there,

I actually didn't include the Argentinian Antex minibots on TF-1 because they were so common! There seemed to always be much more interest in Mexican, Brazilian, Peruvian, Japanese, European and Chilean variants.

The white and green Antex Cliffjumpers (Carrera) are, sorry to say, some of the least valuable and widely available of the minibot variants. That's not to say you can pick one up every day of the week, but they are far far more likely to surface at any given time.

The reason for this is that there was a huge case/factory find of these guys some years ago and they flooded the market. They seem to go for about $20 or less typically MOSC. Depends how much somebody wants it.

As for quality, the Argentinian Antex bots are among the worst I am afraid :(

Hope that was useful, all the best
    Maz
