Plenty of places in the lit-up city for G1 toys to hang out.

City mode seems -for now- just the bot layed down with towers sticking out of it. It would be great if it would have still a different tranformation, but that could really disguise him as a big, flat, city.

Being flat isn't a big deal. You just need enough visual distractions to take away from that. Once he's painted and textured up you'll have a difference there. You could also add in things like trees, roads, and traffic lights. Since he has lots of empty space it'd be cool for him to be a parts-former. The roads and such could be complete seperate pieces that you just place onto the opened robot mode.

If you want to add more depth I'd suggest having his legs open up like tacklebox. You could have two or three seperate "levels of adventure" hidden away within each of his mighty calves. The robot mode is nice but I'd put most of the attention to the city-mode. That's his main feautre afterall, ya know?

road are going to be intregrated ... one reason why it,s flat at this point is that i,m still figuring out his basic transformation.... more details and depth will be added later....

as for the robot mode, trust me it will look as fantastic as the city mode... reason is i hate having one form looking better then the other one ...

at this point i really dont have a time table as to when he,ll be done....

I'd like to see little toon details that are just there for show. Things like his eyes that Scourge stole and even his tranformation cog in place.
.....oh, an that collapsing hallway where Starscream chased Arcee an Springer.

How about you just give my G1 Metroplex knees, elbows, and shoulder articulation while keeping its transformation the same. Also without scratching up the chrome :thumbs2:  .

Compaired to the beast you're making now, this should be a cake walk.

oooh, points of interest. That's a good idea - I like that. The cog-room wouldn't be complete without Pipes, though! Gotta make sure Pipes is there to handle the cog's install. ^_^
