I think they'll all be hillbilly, rednecks with a Larry the Cable guy type of voice.

I'm guessing they're all going to be goofy to a certain extent.

I really wish they'd characterize bots like they did in the first movie. They all had distinct personalities, and they weren't (potentially) racist stereotypes.

I'm fine with them having a southern twang, which is what I expect after seeing their faces, but I really hope they aren't slinging phrases like "Git R Done!" or "Kiss my grits!" or "Your my favorite brother and/or first cousin!"

These guys are supposed to be seasoned warriors. I hope they sound the part.

I dont want to spoil anybody's fun but Ive seen an early cut of the film and when the Wreckers are involved there is narration with the guy who used to narrate the Dukes of Hazard.

There was also a song which went something like -

    "Just some good ol' boys.
    Never meanin' no harm.
    They shoot some stuff
    then transform into cars"

Lurkertron- Hey, I'll bet you're telling the truth!
Mainly because until we all see it in July, everyone can keep speculating and making more ridiculous assumptions and posting threads on said assumptions!

BTW- the Dukes reference made my day. That was hilarious!

How would anyone know what they're going to be like in the movie? We haven't see anything of them yet, we don't even know if they're going to transform in the film. They could be like the Arcee team and have barely two lines between them.

And don't say "what about the toys?" because toys does not equal movie accurate.

No dude, seriously. They got the guy from Dukes of Hazzard to narrate whenever the Wreckers were onscreen.

If I recall there was a scene where the dreads are chasing them and the narration goes something like: "Now them ol' Wreckers boys were up to no good again and that no good Crankcase was in hot pursuit".
Then one of the Bridges in Chicago goes up and the Wreckers just make it by jumping but the Dreads end up in the water and Crackcase stands up, dripping head to toe and saying "Damn those no good, cotton pickin' Wreckers boys!".
Then the Wreckers meet "uncle" Sentinel and Arcee is standing next to him wearing what looked like hotpants.

Seriously. I have no evidence because I had to give the copy back. He made me swear on the Bible not to tell anybody. But I'm a Satanist.

Why the hell would they get the Dukes of Hazard narrator for a Transformers film, just to do some random narration over a random scene? Makes no sence at all and wouldn't be funny in the slightest, just really out of place.

That's even less likely then that narrator telling the story at the begining of the film, instead of Optimus/Peter Cullen.

"Uncle Sentinel"? Just stop now. Arcee isn't even in the film.

I don't know whether to laugh or feel bad.
The whole Dukes thing was a JOKE.
    Or was it?
    Hmmm...

    I laughed.

Anyway, if they go stereotypical with the Wreckers, I doubt they'd be taken seriously. Sure, they may be all Nascar-based, but does that mean they need to have redneck personalities?
    No, it doesn't.

Ouch. This kinda proves my point about the Wreckers being hicks. Which IMHO is a bad call.

Yet it is a better call then those damned twins being a suburban white kids idea of a racial stereotype of a black urban person. Which is in horrible taste.

Though it must be stated that taste is never where Bay goes, nor is class. Which I am learning is all good. Only in RL are you not supposed to be ignorant and racist, in movies it's good film making.

Whatever Bay, you are a racist and someday someone will see this.

could it be possible we get like a "expendables" type Wreckers group thats how i always picture them anyways. bad ass tacking names and numbers.

yes they may look redneckish but i dont think thats how they will be portrayed.
