Holy shit! I like Steve's version. To me it feels more intense, and just f---ing awesome! It was so weird it made me realize how intense that scene was. The music made it even better IMO.

In the first video it just didn't seem they were going fast enough for the song.

It depends on the scene and the context. They're two different types of "music" meant to be used separately. Sometimes, you just need a band with some hardcore rock music to play during an awesome car chase. Other times, you need some epic operatic orchestral score to dance in your head whilst you watch the action. :D

EDIT: So, in conclusion, I like a combination of both used throughout the movie. Usually I'm a score person, but sometimes there's an awesome song that matches great as well.

The score, but for certain scenes I think a track could work.

The highway battle score is one of my favorites of the entire trilogy.

This is futile.....every movie with "Action Scenes" has a better fit either with score OR a track, depending on how fast the action scene is and what exactly is going on in it. I can pick out sooooo many parts in the TF movies where techno would've been perfect or even House/Trance but others it could've just had some orchestrated music that kicked awsome tunes as well.. this thread s futile..

For me the highway score was the best of three films, but it also possible to see battles with a track.:thumbs2:

The score for the Highway scene is freaking boss. I have it on my Iphone and it gives me chills every time I listen to it.

I always prefer scores. I love both orchestral and metal-like electronic scores, though.
