CapturedPrey, BigBadToyStore, HLJ, and RobotKingdom from what I've heard(Or experienced in the cast of the first three.), are all definitely trustworthy. I've not ordered from TFSource, but there's some people who will swear by it, however they've had instances of some credit card issues in the past that should hopefully be cleared up by now.

I've not dealt with any others, but your mileage will vary regardless.

Always check prices as well, some places might be a few bucks cheaper than the others, but also check to see how much shipping is as well, as that might be a factor in prices as well. I've have very enjoyable transactions with BBTS, HLJ, and CP though.

I've only ordered toys online once, and that was from BBTS.

I stick with BBTS. Competetive prices for imports, great customer service, and since I tend to let stuff accumulate in my POL shipping aint't that bad. If you want an import NOW and can't wait for a POL to fill Captured Prey is pretty good too.

BBTS is good, but I don't use it anymore, can't get a package from them that isn't hit by custom fee so I stopped using them. But within the US it would be a great choice. Hobby Link Japan is good too, but only for official takara stuff, you won't find Fansproject and the like there. Robot Kingdom is also good for most thing oversea, and even with the shipping it's usually cheaper for me than say, BBTS (and not counting those custom fee either).

Actually, see all those banners at the top of the page...I don't think you would go wrong ordering from anyone of them. If they weren't legit they wouldn't be up there.

that Credit Card issue with TFSource was fixed ages ago. i have ordered from them since then and never had a single problem.

BBTS is my go-to for Pre-orders, and most times, getting older figures.

    TFSource sometimes has better prices.

RobotKingdom is great for inexpensive reissues.

It's good to point out that people have had issues with TFSource and credit card orders. Buyers should be aware of this.

I've ordered from Captured Prey, BBTS and Robot Kingdom and would recommend any of them. I would recommend Captured Prey the most if they have what you're looking for, because from my experience they have the lowest overall prices of the three.

BBTS I ordered from, but make sure you spring the extra couple bucks if you care about the condition of the box. I didn't when I purchased a HA Mudflap for 56 bucks and got this box that was dented and the plastic was all cracked. Figure loooked good though.

My favorite online store of choice is the amazing Kapow Toys, I like even his incredibly video reviews on YouTube. Although he sells the stuff, he is really honest. When he doesn't like something about a mold, he says so.

    Sites I've used:

    - BBTS - My main source for pretty much everything. Competitive prices, the PoL feature helps a lot on shipping, can cancel preorders and excellent customer service.

    - Hasbrotoyshop.com - Domestic retail stuff only, but generally very quick shipping and prices are retail + taxes + shipping. However, anything in high demand is likely to go out of stock very fast and not be restocked for a long time, if at all.

    - Hobby Link Japan - I haven't used them recently, but ordered a few things in the past and was pleased with the shipping speed and service. They have fairly good sales every so often.

    - Robot Kingdom - Just made my first order with them recently, haven't received the item yet, but happy with the experience so far. Very fast shipping.

    - TFSource - Competitive pricing, quick shipping and items are always packaged very well. I had good experiences with them. However, my credit card information was compromised the first time they had a problem, which made me reluctant to shop there. The second round of credit card issues, while I wasn't affected, put me off ordering from them entirely.

People were having problems with them again as recently as May, as per the more recent pages of this thread, before it went off-topic and got locked. There was a long gap between the first time and the more recent incidents, but this has happened with TFSource twice now.
