Ah...son? I think he was being sarcastic.

 

Kind of a problem the films have had before. After the production invested so much into the look of Devastator I think everyone was expecting big things out of the big bot. Only to have Devastator suck sand and move a few blocks of stone.

After so much seems to have been put into the look of Megatron I'm guessing that people were expecting much bigger things out of Megatron.

The Prime vs Megatron just felt like a let down after they fought toe to toe across the city in the first film and after they went for the some bad ass with a shotgun look.

 

DOTM. By a mile.

Could that really be a con? I mean, he comes back anyway, and Prime dying has been overdone over the years that it's really lost it's magic.

Well, they didn't really lie... Okay, they did, but it was misinformation campaign. Making up a story to make Sentinel's betrayal have even more impact. Actually, this is almost a pro.

 

DotM, humans don't bug me as long as they act bad ass.

 

DOTM, not that I am a ROTF hater like some are.

 

DOTM. The only good thing about ROTF was the forest battle, but the movie went downhill fast afterward.

 

Dark of the Moon for me.

 

I thought the opening Shanghai sequence was pretty bad ass.

 

ROTF. It felt a bit more exciting. Though it has many flaws outside of the action sequences.

DOTM bored me a bit. Maybe because it was the third part? Seen it all before. Plus many of the flaws that were supposed to be fixed showed up again.

So for me. ROTF.

 

DOTM hands down

 

RotF's bit setpiece sequences were way better than any of DotM's, but DotM edges it out in every other category, especially in terms of plot and pacing.

 

See I am not sure if I can use the word BETTER here because I look at both and I feel DOTM did less bad things but even then I wasn't quite as burned out of Bayhem during ROTF as I was during DOTM so even if it wasn't as crappy I still think I enjoyed ROTF more, I actualy left DOTM's theater with a headache for God's sake, no idea how that happened.

You give me a list of everything in DOTM and everything in ROTF, I read it all, I will recognize DOTM did it all better, and yet I had more fun with ROTF than with it.

 

Dark of the Moon, easy.   (Although I do still like Revenge of The Fallen  )

 

I prefer ROTF by far. I have alot more fun watching that movie than DOTM.

 

DOTM, ROTF just has one of the crappiest story lines, ever.

 

DOTM, I liked all of the new character designs.

 

i liked dotm better but it suffered a bit more then rotf with the continuity flow and story telling of tf1 and rotf except for megatrons head being blown up in rotf it just felt that they just made another reason to make another movie and the thing that puzzled me was the size shrinking of ratchet and megatron and optimus looking a bit taller bit taller but other than that it was a really nice movie

 

Although I enjoyed DOTM, I gotta say that I had more fun watching ROTF.

 

DOTM for sure.
