I consider Cyclonus to be THE BEST Deluxe mold of the Classics/Universe/Generations/Henkei/RtS line and IMO probably the best figure overall in the entire line.

With that said, which one is your favorite and why? I have to say mine is a toss up between the original Universe one and the Battle In Space version.

They both represent the original character the best.

 

henkei for me..something bout the color and the chrome fit it so well...

 

I'm not sure how they can both represent the original character best if they have different paint schemes.

I think the best is Challenge at Cybertron.

 

I would like to find the 2 figure set I think I would like that one the best.

Challenge at Cybertron. Because the Battle in Space version has one of those black square rubsigns on it.

 

I think we all need to wait for the EHobby one to get here

 

IMO the character in the original G1 movie and toy is somewhere between both paint schemes. I.E. both the Universe and BiS/CfC version share attributes from the G1 Cyclonus.

None of the other ones do.

Henkei--looks like "Easter Cyclonus"

Strafe--Nope

Shattered Glass--Not even Close

eHobby--Next closest thing to G1

While the universe 2.0 one is more accurate to the original G1 toy, I like the battle in space one better, because it's more movie accurate.

 

I like the universe2.0 one the best because thats the one I have.







 

 

Challenge at Cybertron because it looks more like he did in the cartoon and the Movie.

 

There all the same mold and they all look great..IMO..

 

They're all great. I can't comment on the e-Hobby one as it's still 3 months away.

Challenge at Cybertron is best, but the Henkei one has the best Nightstick by far.

For me the Universe/Classics 2.0 version and the Challenge at Cybertron version are on equal footing. One represents the original Targetmaster toy (which I had) and the other represents his Animation counterpart. As far as I'm concerned, both of those are my faves out of the mold.

 

Challenge at Cybertron. Hands down. I got two of him. I also have two of the Universe version. The ehoby version is on order. Had the Henkei version but traded him. The purple is all wrong with that guy lol.

I like the Universe version best, the dark purple is reminiscent of the G1 toy.

 

Henkei is my favorite by far. Love it so much. Challenge at Cybertron gets second place.

3 - Ehobby (don't care if it's not out yet, looks hot
4 - BiS (dang rub symbol right on the chest
5 - Strafe (looks NOTHING like Strafe, but throw a con symbol on him and he makes a great "Animation error Cyclonus")
6 - Universe 2.0
7 - SG - I like the concept of Cyclonus in Hotrod colors, but wish they'd gone a little further. He cost more than Henkei Cyclonus but has fewer paint apps. If he had the black Hotrod "boots" or some flames, he could easily be up at #3 instead of last place. I plan to paint a BiS Cyclonus into a more Hot-roddy color scheme instead of having the official SG one on my shelf.)

 

Universe. I prefer it's darker purple.
