I've looked through some of the different threads on which DVDs have which and I'm still not clear on something - which DVD release has the deleted scenes? Or, if there are deleted scenes on each DVD release, which one has the most deleted scenes?

My wife got me the Target one and I don't know if I should open it up or go searching for another set.

    HLP PLZ!

PS: Ka, I still love you.

I don't think any of the Standard Definition versions have any deleted scenes beyond what is edited into the various featurettes on the bonus disc, which should be identical for all two disc sets minus the Wal-Mart "Beginnings" one.

So the Wal-Mart "beginnings" one might have additional deleted scenes, or are you just saying that the Wal-Mart just has additional stuff in general (like the prequel comic)?

There are no deleted scenes on the standard version or 2-disc, and I'm pretty sure there aren't any on any other versions.

This is what I meant to communicate.

The Wal-Mart "Beginnings" has the least amount of Bonus Content, including, like the other sets, a lack of deleted scenes.

None of them have a Deleted Scenes section in the special features.

The featurettes on the 2 disc SE and HD have some snippets of the deleted scenes mixed in with the featurettes.

But none of the deleted scenes included in the IMAX cut are on any of the DVDs in their entirety, that I know of.

I think the deleted scenes are only on the HD-DVD. Really though you shouldn't buy it because the deleted scenes will eventually be on the internet for us to watch.

Same here, or at least some storyboards of Robot Action that didnt make it into the film. Man this DVD is kinda on the lame side. Not the actualy movie, which I really like, but the extras kinda suck. They just look like the same clips we've been watching on yahoo up untill the movie came out.

yeah, I just about crapped myself...no deleted scenes, no gag reels, no outtakes, no special stuff, no nothing on the Wally-World 2-disc set. The Beginnings narration wasn't even Cullen, it was Mark Ryan. I want to kick someone/thing for false advertising. Maybe I need to get the Xbox360 HD-DVD player, if the HD-DVD version has stuff.

Ok to set the record straight the only real deleted scene's that were in the movie were inserted and shown in the IMAX version only.

There are NO deleted scenes on any of the DVD editions of the movie including the HD-DVD.

There are some rough cuts and snippets of scene's that are shown in some of the featurettes and easter eggs on the DVD's but that's about it. And again these arnt missing giant robot scenes everyone seems to think exists, mostly just little things like Sam and his dad talking for 2 seconds outside the police station and such. The only somewhat interesting thing in this respect on the DVD was an easter egg showing a car upside down on wires with Bay working out a possible scene against blue screen were Megatron picks him up and flicks him out of an SUV.

I smell a "Super Street Fighter Special Edition DVD" around the corner for 59.99 :(  More money to spend.
