I think outta all the trilogies we've had Narnia has to be one of the best. I love it when they make new ones those movies are great.

Tougher question than I thought because I had to think on it almost all day but I think I've found a series just about everyone could agree was worse than the Transformers trio.

The Scorpion King. A not so good first movie and things only went down hill from there as they couldn't get the star to return and the movies ended up going direct to video because they had no chance of making money in the theaters.

Ah, very hard to find answers to that, no sarcasm.

Nope. I liked many other trilogies, but these TF movies are my favorites out of..well, just about everything.

And the first one to troll me for this will be shot on sight. XD

Original Star Wars, The Dark Knight trilogy, Lord of the Rings, The Godfather, Back to The Future, Pirates of the Carribean Will Turner saga...

Hell even the first movie isn't out yet and yet I can bet my balls that the Hobbit trilogy will be a thousand times better.

Back to the Future - Never a dull moment. Just about every scene was important and/or was worth watching. Most movies that you've seen repeatedly have scenes that you'd skip. Not here.

The Mighty Ducks - ..... ahaha.... I like the second one though.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy - There was a third movie? No... I was talking about the game.

Other mentions: X-Men, Jurassic Park, LotR, PotC, Aliens, Matrix, Star Wars (both), Rocky (5 sucked. 6 sucked too, just not as hard), TMNT (live action).

That's because The Chronicles of Narnia is not meant to be a trilogy.

Other trilogies better than the Bay Films (seeing as you didn't specify film...)

    The Oresteia
    Der Ring des Nibelungen
    The Berlin Trilogy
The Oedipus trilogy (likely, but only the third play survives to this day)

Other FILM trilogies better than the Bay films

The Back to the Future Trilogy
    The Nolan Batman Trilogy
    John Ford's Cavalry Trilogy
The Night Of the Living Dead Trilogy (though this may not count, if the recent sequels are considered in continuity. I don't know if they are, as there are differences between the two sets of films, and these sequels may be better considered as "remakes")
    The Dollars Trilogy
    The Evil Dead Trilogy
    The Godfather Trilogy
    The Mad Max Trilogy
    The Naked Gun Trilogy
    The Sho Kosugi "Ninja" Trilogy
    The Patlabor Movie Trilogy
    The Rio Bravo Trilogy
    Yamada's "Samurai" Trilogy
    The Three Colors Trilogy
    The Vengeance Trilogy

... people actually like the second and third Pirates of the Caribbean movies?

I'm sorry, there's no way to make this sound polite, but I thought that the second and third PoC movies were critically fairly poorly received. I'm just really surprised by hearing people count it in their lists of favorite trilogies since I hear pretty much nothing but vitriol for it.

Pirates of the Carribean to me is the single most fun trilogy I ever saw.

It wasn't anything mindblowing (well the CGI for the crew of the Flying Dutchman was, Davy Jones looked TOO real I thought it was a prosthetic mask or something) but I had tons of fun watching them and are some of the best movie going expreriences I ever had.

It's a guilty pleasure for me really. And I mean come Deadman's Chest had the single best cliffhanger ending EVER how can you not love it?

As much as I love TFs in general and even enjoy the films, I think a shorter list would consist of trilogies that aren't better than Transformers... That having been said, the trilogies that I think are better than the TF Trilogy:

    Star Wars (OT)
    Star Wars (PT)
    The Lord Of The Rings
    Nolan's Batman trilogy
    X-Men
    Spider-Man
    Back To The Future
    Indiana Jones

The question was better trilogy than Transformers so I think people were putting Pirates on the list because even with it's flaws the Will Turner story is still better than Transformers as a three film series.

Second pirates film has it's problems and the third film really has some problems, but they seem almost minor problems compared to Transformers. I wouldn't put Pirates as my favorite films of all times, but I can still say they were better than Transformers.

For me, none, because the three TF movies all rank among my favorite movies of all-time, with DotM #1.

    Lord of the Rings
    Nolan's Batman
    Original Star Wars
    Spider-man
    X-Men
    Pirates of the Caribbean
    Bourne
    Toy Story
Indiana Jones (I don't like The Temple of Doom, but 1 & 3 make up for it)

I thought there were multiple surviving plays in that? Isn't Antigone part of it? I could well be remembering wrong, though; AP English was almost a year ago now.

They were rather poorly received, but I still thought they were fun, and better movies than most people made them out to be.

I agree with that second statement. Sure the Pirates sequels have their little flaws but they're fun action-packed movies and most of the world loves them.
