Real gear. Robot Heroes are cute and all, but I never saw the appeal of TFs that don't transform. It's like buying clothes you can't wear or a car that you can't drive.

I like both of them, but I like Real Gears better because they are transforming toys, while Robot Heroes are simply figurines (though kewl)

robot heroes... cause they are really the only G1 figures to come out in mass since the movie figure implosion... and they look awesome on my computer. The real gears? just who the hell are the Real gears again???

    G1 v.s. the UNKNOWNS?.... WINNER, G1 !!!!

    Real Gears by far.

    1) They don't have that...cute look the Robot Heroes do
    2) They actually transform
    3) They do more than sit and be cute

Real Gears - they transform and have a damn sight more poseability than moving their arms up and down.

cuteness + the G1 factor or transformning electronics with some G1 flavor thrown in? Hmm, for me, it's Real Gear, but that's because the ones I own are integrated into another line. I don't want an additional subline to collect/display.

Love both of them for different reasons. Robot Heroes since it's awesome representations of G1 characters, but Real Gear does transform with is what Transformers should be all about. I never thought I'd ever get into non-transforming TFs...I hated the PVC line for that reason. Go figure.

Real Gears. They bring back the Microchange appliance type of Transformers that have been sorely missed since G1. They're also awesome little robots, very nice poseability and design. Also, they're fun.

Real Gears. Transforming and looking cool beats standing there and looking small and mostly crappy any day.

Real gear would come first, but only a couple. (IE. Camcorder, cellphone; out of the first 6)

But robot heroes are awesome. This time, almost every one.

Instead of a shirt you can't wear, think of it as a shirt your dog could wear.

Real Gears. Need I link you to the LOLgear thread?
But beyond that, they're all good Transformers... Robot heros just dont seem like enough bang for my buck.

Just the single most popular line out right now.

I'm torn, I would say both. There are more RH than RG. But again LOLGear thread fuelled much RG appreciation. But RH rock hard! So, think like this:

More bang for your buck (ie. sculpt, size, price, amount) or Design quality (ie. detailed, transformable, homage, QC, Play value)

Both have equal amounts of nostalgia.

Mostly crappy? I have yet to see a G1 RH that looks crappy. (maybe Rodimus, Ravage or Grimlock, since they aren't the strongest molds.)

I bought some robot heros but their nowhere near as addictive as real gear. Plus spyshot fulfills my childhood desire for reflector.

    Definitely Real Gears.
While I generally don't agree with the whole "won't buy Transformers that don't transform" mentality, I just can't get into Robot Heroes. Maybe if they had more articulation, maybe if they weren't so cutesy looking, maybe .. I don't know, I just can't get into them.
