This doesn't sound good... at all. Is this a real situation?

Well, if I was forced to choose... my top five would be:

    1. MP Megatron
    4. Predaking reissue
    8. MP Prime
    14. Classics Jetfire
    18. Primus

That's just based on personal taste - I don't care what the value is of the figure.

Most of the others I don't care to own in the first place, but I would keep:

    3. Classics Skywarp
    9. Hound reissue
    13. Prowl reissue
    14. Classics Jetfire
    15. Sideswipe reissue

    17. Anime Galvatron reissue <-- though this is tough, I'd need his box to show the final product of my lavabath art I bought from Guido.

Probably these. I dont care for anything that isnt G1 related, and for the most part these are all fun to play with.

If I had to sell and could keep only five, it would be these as they are my favorites. However, I'd try to hang onto as much of that G1 stuff as you can.

Sorry, this is not a serious real-life situation...but thanks all for the concern!

I am just going back and forth on streamlining my collection. Sometimes it looks awesome to have so many toys, other times I'm not sure why I need that many toys??

At the moment, I am very fond of:
    1. Hound reissue
    2. Predaking
    3. MP Megatron
    4. Movie Blackout
    5. GF Starscream

    6. GF Convoy
    7. TwinCast
    8. Soundblaster
    9. Classics Jetfire
    10. Classics Skywarp

I bet even if I sell most of them, I'll just buy them back within a year...such weak self-control eh!

I think I should search for other threads to see if fellow collectors share similar sentiments...

I know what you mean about wanting to streamline the collection....it's a feeling that used to come and go for me, about every six months I would think about getting rid of some stuff, but then I knew I would end up filling the empty space with more stuff...even if no new toys ever came out, there's enough history there to keep me buying for quite awhile.

I reached the same conclusion most collectors do: in the end, I would fill the space back up. I ended up just cutting down the amount of stuff I have out in the open and on display, store the rest, and rotate what's on display either every few months or when new stuff overcrowds the display space I have.
