Prime Megs looks better IMHO as a bot if Geewun-iness is important, but part of TF to me is the ability to transform into something cool and Prime Megs just loses it for me in that respect. I will prolly pass on Prime Megs for this very reason.

As for DotM Megs, I love both modes though he can be a bit fiddly in teh shoulders/grill region when transforming him. The big downside for him was he was very out of scale with most of Bayverse toys. Much less an issue if you mixing lines I suppose.

All of this is completely beside the line aesthetic argument because both are really different in that regard.

 

I like both.

Though if I had to make a split decision then Prime RID Voyager Megatron.

Overall I like him more as a figure.

Spent most of the day posing him.

DOTM Voyager Megatron is nice (the hood/tarp helps add something to the design).

DOTM does have a nicer alt mode.

I like Prime Megatron's overall design and feel more so then DOTM.

 

They're both great toys and great representations of their respective characters. There is no "better."
