Which TF series is your favorite and why?

Mine's BW, because it had great characterization, great CGI for it's time and even now. There were no children to ruin the plot. Dinobot is perhaps the greatest transformers character.

Animated. Love the artstyle and the way it really feels like alot of love was poured into making it.

I also really like Beast Wars and G1. I was loving Bayformers until the second movie pretty much ruined it for me - hope the new one can redeem it! :)

I'm ok with all the other things, I guess. Don't like them or know enough about them, but besides Kiss Players everything seems nice. Can't make a final judgement yet on TF Prime.

    G1.

As for Beast Wars CGI I sorta remember reboots animation being smoother...Beast Wars bugged me in one spot..the slide walking. I did enjoy it and became semi hooked after seeing the ark discovered but lost track with beast machines.

Prime is the last series I like so far (too early to tell).

I have yet to catch up with the rest, minus RID...I will not watch that series that even dumbs down to little kids.

    Beast Wars.

The show was just so well written and engaging. The characters are all very memorable and it was full of great action scenes.

    Beast Wars.

Forget the CGI, those characters could have been stick drawings and it would still be the greatest TF series ever. The writing and voice acting is incerdible.

    Beast Wars/Machines

God damn they have amazing story-telling, they really bring ya in with their stuff. Though if Prime keeps doing what they're doing, that'll take the mantle over BW.

Beast Wars was truly great when you look at the whole thing But I got to admit, TF Prime first five episodes are pretty good. Certainly the best first five of any past series, if they manage to keep that up it can get pretty close to BW for me, and if they only get better with time like BW did they could probably surpass it.

    1 - Beast Wars
    2 - Animated
    3 - G1 and Movieverse
    4 - Armada
    5 - Everything else.

It's too early to tell with Prime. The first five episodes were just INCREDIBLE though. It's hard to say if they'll keep it up or if they mess it royally. I say it'll be great.

Beast Wars had it all. What I love most about it is the characters. BW had so many memorable characters that may never see the light of day again in a Transformers series (we did have two in TFA which was GREAT!). I'll never forget Botcon 2010 and seeing Dinobot elected into the Hall of Fame. One of the best moments of the Transformers Franchise.

I think Beast Wars as a whole will always be my favorite because it truly will always be one of a kind. It was such a shot in the dark to try and bring the dying (almost dead) franchise back to life and it worked. It's hard to tell, but I seriously doubt we'll ever see another Beast Wars series. We'll always see another Optimus Prime, but seeing Optimus Primal is a long shot.

    Trukk not munky.

    G1.

I'd put Prime second, then Animated after. I've seen some Beast Wars, but the animal angle just doesn't work for me. Never seen the Unicron stuff aside from clips on YouTube. Not in a real hurry to watch them.

I know G1 is cheesy as hell, but I still like it. Maybe it's nostalgia. But I'm pretty sure it's Latta's Starscream. I still love the "Starscream's Ghost" and "Starscream's Brigade" out of all the G1.

The first Bay movie was fun
The 2nd Bay movie was retarded but had some cool ideas (Primes) but ultimately failed as a movie, in my opinion of course.

Beast Wars with G1 in second (possibly third with however I feel about Beast Machines when I watch it). If Prime plays its cards right however, it just might make my new #1.

Beast Wars is definitely number one. Prime could come in close second or even become my favorite series.

G1 is kind of doing its own thing for me. It's immense fun to watch with friends for both nostalgia and to make fun of it; but watching it alone is really quite boring.
