I haven't watched many episodes so I am not sure.

Which TF animated toys need a lot of touch-up to become more show accurate?

    Starscream
    - color scheme, null rays, wings etc.

    Blitzwing
    - tank mode, fat stubby turrets, shoulders, overall build

Can't really be helped though given that he's a triple changer and sacrifices had to be made to fit in the three modes.

    Cybertron Mode Megatron
    - head, color scheme

It's mostly Starscream and Blitzwing's toys which bother me most. They're cool toys but the fact that the toys don't match up in looks quite so well with their on screen counterparts makes me not really want to pick them up.

I guess Lockdown's bot mode could be considered not show accurate but he looks so badass in toy form that I'm willing to overlook it. In fact I think the toy probably looks better.

Bumblebee could use some work as well. What i did was add a black stripe on the right leg, some black fills on the hands, and of course the stinger mod.

Still looks like crap, but yeah, i just hate the mold. Some people love him though.

Starscream looks really weird with his wing backpacks and shark missiles.

Also looking at Lockdown, he's more like a "Classics" version of the Animated animation model.

All the rest are really just things needed for toy making, no "useless errors".

Bumblebee's the bloody wrong size. And so are Voyager Bulkhead and (sadly) Lugnut.

Why do people hate Bumblebee? Aside from the stingers he's an all around good fun, well made figure.

this is my least favourite aspect of Tf discussion because its usually used as a negative point against a toy that could actually be very nice. Eg i dont like Tf toy 'x' because its not like on the show. I have always found that a poor argument for not liking a given toy. Anyway, i digress.....

back to the point, well i suppose its BB, the drawn version is quite a lot more streamlined than the rather clunky footed and ungainly toy, still its a fun looking toy and im sure kids will not be complaining.

Starscream, 'cause of the aforementioned colors.

Also Blackarachnia's spider mode is way off, and Lugnut's robot mode is inaccurate in few areas (ignoring the scale).

As of right now I'd say voyager Optimus Prime. I've never seen that version of the axe or gun. That being said, I still really like the figure... just no accessories.

i love the BB mold, but id still say his is the least accurate to the show. his legs are wrong, dont like his arms that much, esp.with the weapons, plus his backpack is messed up too. but i still love the mold.

Leader Bulkhead, definitely. Outside of scale and a few other things (treads on feet, no "hole/gap" on his alt modes back), he is much less accurate than the voyager.

Voyager Bulky and Lugnut, scale-wise and a couple other things.

Screamer's color is off, as are his guns on his arms.

BB is just kinda..off, but still a great figure.

    Voyager Prime's axe and gun.

    Blackarachnia's alt mode.

Lockdown is, probably the best representation he can be of his animation model, all things considered.

Voyager Megatron's color and head design is off.

In all though, the line is extremely close to the show, about as accurate as a lot of them can be.

Voyager Megs is pretty off colour & design wise, not to mention the oversized canon. Voyager Prime has his fair share in the weird axe too.

Solution: Battle Begin 2 pack, but then again scale is an issue... waitaminute I never bothered with scale anyway :lol

Bumblebee's kibble feet turn me off, then again I'm not interested in the character/toy to begin with.

    My humble 2 cents.

starscream's colors are fine. they're just the night colors, rather than the day colors we're used to.

Nah, Screamer is a darker shade of blue than he is in the series, where it is more subdued.

    agreed.

but the figure that seems to be non-show accurate is SENTINEL PRIME. i dont own him yet, and ill prolly love him when i do get him -hypocrite- xD, its just his lower legs that kills it for me. oh and i wish they made him a voyager.
