I'll be getting both, but I think the Deluxe fits better with the other molds. I'm also still cautious about that light gimmick in the Voyager. I know the electronics are supposed to be isolated to the gun (which is a good thing), but it's supposed to have some sort of light piping in the arms. I'm curious how this will affect the aesthetic of the final painted product.

Looking the deluxe again it might be the better scaled starscream, based on the tf prime chart.

Well, the Voyager would be in better Scale with the Deluxe Arcce, but then the Deluxe Starscream would be better scaled with the other figures...

Eh, I plan on getting both.

Well the voyager appears more screen accurate but, I think the deluxe is better scale. It is so hard to tell cause he slouches, the voyager does look better though, certainlly more screen accurate. I think in the end I will end up with voyager starscream.

If it's so important you only get one, watil til you know more about the Voyager 'til you make a decission.

Personally, i'd just drop the $12 on the Delxue and have a look at the Voyager later.

^THIS^ Although, they will both be going into my Seeker collection and awaiting the inevitable repaints...rather they're in the show or not I'm sure Takara will do at least TC & SW.

I will probably get both. I'll have to wait for more Voyager pics, though.

I would like to say that I will wait and just get the Voyager figure, but I have a bad feeling that I'll see the Deluxe and will be so impressed with him in-person that I'll buy him anyways. He is in-scale with Voyager Optimus, but at the same time, Voyager Optimus is too small compared to the others. Then again, scale has never been a big factor for me.

Edit: Also, this whole thing with characters getting redone in the main line has me second guessing all of the First Edition figures, and even some of the main-line figures (most especially Ratchet and Soundwave, who according to shadow are likely to be getting Voyager figures). As much as I love the Prime show, and look forward to finally being able to buy the toys, it's getting rather complicated and a bit frustrating...

I look at the second guessing as more of a variety then anything else but, I know the feeling you wanna make sure you get the best version of a given character. When did you hear about a voyager Soundwave and Ratchet? I cannot keep track of all the inside info. Did you hear anything about a leader prime to go with the leader megatron?

Exactly, and with most characters seemingly getting two molds, it's hard to tell which one I should get.

I heard about a possible Voyager Soundwave from shadow (he specifically said "there may be a voyager class Soundwave"), and the possibility of a Voyager Ratchet is something shadow mentioned in a conversation with HeroicC300 (his exact words were "very likely). Not sure I would take either as absolute fact, but neither would at all surprise me.

No, but with the revelation that one of the two leaders in the works is most likely Megatron, I feel it safe to assume that the second one is Optimus.

    Thank you sir:thumb

Wow! so tf prime is like what the movie line was? Nice

It is nice to be picky with a tf line, considering I have been buying primarily from filler lines for years (alternators, classics, Universe, masterpiece, etc).

    No problem.

Eh, to a certain extent yes. Still, the way shadow talks about it, there's still going to be plenty of character variety within the line.

He's mentioned both as possibilities for the future of the Prime main-line. Personally I hope they make Ironhide a Voyager figure eventually, and keep the same design they based the Cyberverse figure off-of.

That would make sense to have ironhide as a voyager

Erm, don't think Voyager Starscream's pic is out as yet right? If not how come you are certain it will be more show accurate? No offence
