Which Starscream do you like better? Robot Masters or Classics? And Why?

I have the Robot Masters version of Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp... and debating on if I should get the Classics version...

I would prefer to have responses only from those that own both versions.

Vastly prefer Classics. The paint job might not be as G1 accurate, but otherwise its a far better figure. Bigger, waaaay more detailed, clear cockpit vs. colored plastic, better articulation, better head, not nearly as flimsy, arms aren't so scrawny, and it just goes on and on.

    Classics.......

but the horizontal tail fin problem knocks it down a few points.

I like them both for different reasons, but I'd have to go with RM as my favorite of the two. He has better proportions, is missing the stupid huge guns, better paint job, and better jet mode - at least underneath.

Ideally, a combination of the two would be perfect.

    Classics.

It's legs are FAR more posable.
Doesnt have an unsightly blob of a face.
    Interesting transformation
    Transparent cockpit!
    Overall better sculpt
    Doesnt have dainty little arms

RM is garbage compared to it.

    Classics

I never liked the looks of the nosecone in jet mode on the Robotmasters Starscream... it just seemed to be pointed down. Plus its more posable

    I'd say "go with classics"
I got mine today and I have been playing with him all afternoon :p
Although mine's got some pretty sloppy paint applications and missing apps straight out of the package (nothing is chipping though)
Wonderful toy so yeah, buy classics Screamer .

Classics. Aside from everyhintg listed above, he's got knee joints....that was a big let down for me on the RM version.

Classics Screamer is vastly better. I don't own the Robot Master's version, but I have seen one in person, and have held it, and what not. Classics Screamer is just plain all around better, in every way. Now only if we could get Hasbro to produce and release that Classics Cosmos design, that would just make Classics the best line ever. Peace out.

ive got both, and i like both for diff reasons....RM is a good g1 version, while classics is like an updated version....and usually dont put my toys it crazy poses so RM is cool....and his transformation is closer to g1....but....i dunno...in my mind (thanks to FREEFALL) i see classics as another evolution of cybertron, while RM is actually g1 screamer reborn...ah...you know what. just get em both....

The Classics version, in my opinion, is better than the RobotMasters version. The only things I'm not too keen on are the unpainted face and hollow underside in jet mode.

    RM:
Pros: Stronger cartoon accuracy, Stands up easier
Cons: Teensy weensy little head and hands, no knees. Wings pop off easily

    Classics:
Pros: Larger, better-proportioned head and arms, has knees. More solid in both modes.
Cons: could use better paint, shoulder guns bat the wings around, Lame landing gear, robot falls backward too easily.

My pick: Classics, but that dude needs some paint to bring out the face contours.

hmm, I like the RM better, oh well.

I don't like the giant guns or the poor paint job on the Classics version.

For all of you who are no longer giving RM SS the love he deserves can turn him over to me! I'm looking for another one! :lol

Classics. The paint might be sloppy but the mold is just a lot better.
