Well, I got a bit of a surprise Amazon gift certificate, and I need to choose between Takara reissue Starscream, Beast Wars 2nd Galvatron, and Magmatron.

    Thoughts?

Having 1000 Starscreams, I'd go with the Galvy.

If you're already considering other figures over starscream, get one of those instead.

As for my personal choice, I wouldn't get any of the 3 as I already have a g1 and encore ss, and I don't particularly like beastwars.

Magmatron is the better toy of three by far. I own all of them and while I love my G1 SS.....he's bricktastic. Galvy is cool in his own right and a very nice toy but he just doesn't compare to Magmatron IMO.

Galvatron. Magmatron is awesome too, but Galvatron's articulation is WAY better. But if you don't care about posing or articulation, Magmatron is a cooler looking display piece.

I have(and love) reissue starscream, but that's because I don't have any of the ofter releases of the mold. I've also wanted Magmatron for a while, so that'd be my second guess.

Magmatron, only because I don't have Galvatron. Both of them are infinitely better than Starscream, though.

Well, I certainly do like complicated transformations, so Magmatron it is. Thanks for the input, everybody.

It's already been decided, but I still have to agree with the majority. Magmatron is pure awesome. Not the most poseable 'bot out there, but his transformation and multiple modes are just plain old fun to play with.

Magmatron all da way!!! i just got him last yr dec '07. i've been wanting him for quite a while. he's awesome & it's like having 3 toys all in one. a somewhat challenging transforming sequence dat will delight u but it won't frustrate you.
