No two Space Bridges look the same.
I prefer the original cartoon most of all.
I always liked the Marvel Comics version...actually looked like a bridge, plus the Decepticons built Spanner right into it. That's evil on so many levels.
I've always wondered what Shockwave did with all of those rocks and boulders that got sucked into the gateway when the bridge was activated on Earth
They didn't have guidance, so they were lost in space.
G1 had a weird spacebridge. They could aim in at Earth, but the rotation and stuff made it hard to line up or something? I liked that, even though they rarely used it, at least it made it a little bit bigger of a deal.
In Cybertron is was an actual bridge in space. Yeah, and people say G1 is goofy.
Animated was okay, but only the Autobots could use them and the 'Cons had to steal them or make their own.
I liked the design of the Animated version, but hated how, when activated it would just be a giant ball of energy..would have been cool if there would be a road in between the spires..
I like animated the most, it had a Stargate feel
I like the G1 cartoon version the most.
Marvel comics version for me!
G1, as as for those Rocks, assuming any made it to Cybertron Shockwave probably ran tests on then inhis spare time
i like the armada style transport warp system
Three-way tie between G1, Cybertron, and Animated
animated looked more realistic
I agree Animated was more realistic and probably the best. I never really thought of the space bridges being anything cool though.
Yep. For some reason I could never get into the G1 Marvel comic version, and my only gripe with the G1 Animated version was the two ends looked too different.
Don't the space bridges in Animated remind anyone of that funky Quintesson time portal from G1 Season 3 where Blurr, Blaster, and the cassettes get sent back in time to help out with the Autobot revolt circa 15 million years ago?
I always liked the G1 version. It didn't look like anything else, and the 'oh shit!' looks always made me grin.
The G1 version is my favourite. There is one peisode in particular where it is animated very well and looks great, but I can't remember which.
I kinda prefer the G1 version, mostly because both ends of it have a semi-enclosed chamber, for that old-school teleporter feel.
Marvel comics. Space Bridge was actual space bridge. And the story about Spanner and the fight between Blaster and Staxus on it all made it more than just a bit of tech to shunt TF back and forth.
