Season 1 or Season 2?

 

Season 1

 

Season 2, simply by virtue of not pulling a new villain out of its arse to make things more "epic".

 

They both have some noticable pacing issues. But Season 2 edges out Season 1 for the character development between Optimus Prime and Bumblebee and featuring Steeljaw as the villain over Fallen Rogers.

 

The first season's main villain's defeat was as plain as "he stumbled over the air and died". The second season makes much more sense.
The finale of Season One was so bad that I have never wanted to rewatch it. So I vote for "Season Two".

 

Season 1 disrupted its villain arc to focus on a new (but also old) bad guy.
Season 2 disrupted its villain arc to focus on an old (but also new) bad guy... but did so in a natural way.

 

Season 2. It tries and feels like a Series Finale and I hope it leads to a Season 3.

 

Season 2 has better character development and story development

 

Season 2, the Season 1 Finale was so anti-climatic just a zap and poof! No more Megatronus.

 

Season 2. I think everyone else has already said what I was going to say.

 

Season 2 without a doubt. It could have been a lot better, but it was still better than Megatronus.

 

I damn near didn't watch season 2 because of the season 1 finale. Talk about a waste of potential. Season 2 was better, that's about all Ill give it.

 

Season 2. In my opinion, the season 2 finale would've been even better if only season 2 has 26 episodes instead of just 13.

 

Hard to say. Season 1's finale had one episode leading up to the Megatronus battle, which took place over the course of the following episode. The action was cool and left me satisfied, but Season 2 wins out by virtue of having some development for Bumblebee and Optimus, and for bringing back Ratchet.

 

Season 1 finale was awful and rushed. I am not a big fan of RID15 but I truly did enjoy the season 2 finale so season 2.

 

Season 2.

Season 1's finale was godawful, Megatronus the jobber in fact pretty much everyone jobs in that one.

2 just felt right and more natural. It felt built up better and it's pay off was actually satisfying.

 

Yep that is my thoughts as well

 

Not only Season 2 's finale was actualy a natural progression of the season's plot and themes, it also had multiple fun little moments between characters. Strongarm, Sideswipe and Windblade's partner triangle, Drift and Grimlock, Fixit's sympathy for his peers, Bumblebee and Optimus's friction etc.

It's much more full of what really matters, character interaction and emotion, than season 1, which was just "Bumblebee falls to old habits while everybody else just reacts to the plot and fight". We went from a boring only-action finale to one full of what makes the show fun PLUS action. Also the season 3 status quo being set is more interesting than the season 2 status quo the S1 finale set up, so even in a to be continued way Season 2 wins.

Simply improved in all ways, hope season 3 improves even more.

I hope Season 3 can improve. Please.

 

Season 2 for not being a massive underwhelming piece of....  

But that's me...!!
