Which score did you think was better? Steve Jablonsky's movie scores for Transformers or Brian Tyler's for Transformers Prime. I chose Jablonsky because it didn't feel repetitive and I thought it was one of the best scores ever. Make no mistake, I love Tyler's score because it's better than many movie scores and it has a great main theme.

Steve Jablonsky's obviously. Brian Tyler's is really generic sounding.

    Jablonsky, but they're both great.

They're both great, but they're also both very generic and predictable. I mean, I like them both, but I realize there's nothing very special about them. I chose Jablonsky. I liked the score so much that I bought it off iTunes. Sure, it's not very inventive, but I remember hearing "Arrival to Earth" in the theater and being all "OMG AWSUMMMMM!" Buuuuut like half of my playlist is movie/tvshow/videogame scores. ;)  Probably the best and most inventive soundtrack I've ever heard was for the Battlestar Galactica remake.

That is where we differ. I can't stand the new Battlestar Galactica. It's ok if you like it, but I just never got into it.

Oh, I haven't actually watched it. I plan to eventually, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm generally horrible at catching up on tv shows. But I watched an episode over a friend's house once, and I fell in love with the soundtrack, so now it takes up a good chunk of my playlist.

Steve wins. Brian's is awesome, but it's not MOVIE LEVEL awesome.

Plus Steve deserves all his praise for getting his amazing music sadly attached to turdlantic movie 2 and 3.

Brian Tyler is ok, but when when compared to Jablonsky's work, it's like comparing Quick Change Robot Force to Transformers.

Steve Jablonsky. Brian Tyler is good, but damn have you guys listened to "Shockwave's Revenge" off the DOTM soundtrack? Not to mention Sentinel's theme and "No Prisoners, Only Trophies".

Steve J...without a doubt...I've played and enjoyed the movie score's hundreds of times, so it's really not a fair contest..but I love the TFP score as well.

I like them both. But who cares. In the end, I care about the story and characterization and Transformers Prime wins hands down. It's epicness, plot, and character development overshadows anything Michael Bay could produce. Bay movies are known for just two things: pretty visuals and scores. And that's about it.

Movie 1, Movie 2, the TF Prime, Movie 3 in that order.

    DOTM's soundtrack is pants.

DOTM's score is the best in my opinion, just listen to, "It's Our Fight", and you will be amazed.

I like both, but I feel that Jablonsky is very overrated, so I voted for Tyler...

Jablonsky. Prime is ok but a lot of times I forget that the show HAS a theme.

Jablonsky. Every movie score was the best movie score I've ever heard.
