    MP Rod is due 4th qtr 2010 and the Fans Project Rod Kit (Protector) is supposed to be Dec 2010. Just out of curiosity (and to pass the time at work); when you consider the prototypes we've seen of each, which would you rather have as your "Rod of choice" for display purposes?

    Both. MP doesn't fit with Classics at all, and Protector doesn't fit with MPs/Alts.

    The only MP's I own so far are Optimus and Starscream, and thus far I can live without the rest.

    The base of my collection is the Henkei! line, so I'm going with the Protector kit with Henkei! Hot Rodimus.

    I'll wait and hope for a Hasbro MP Rodimus.

    Some final color photos and reviews of Protector will have to really impress me to get him: the TFsource display at Botcon was a good start, but I really don't care for City Commander much.

    I think I'll pass on the FP kit this time around. But I'm also gonna wait for the Hasbro release of MP Roddy.

    MP absolutely.

    So far I'm not that impressed with the gray sculpt of the FP armor. If the colors/paint, turn it around for me, I might.

    Fansproject for sure.

    As for MP Roddy, I will own one but I'm still deciding between getting this one or waiting for Hasbro to do a US version.

    Thanks to Grimlock I have some faith that the differences between the Japanese and US releases will be acceptable. If I'm proven wrong, then I'm sure I'll be able to snag one at some point in time for a minor price increase.

    Actually I'm pretty happy with my Alts Hot Rod and 6" Rodimus.

    Probably MP Rodimus.
