The crablegs kind of bug me for some reason, so I'll go with the biped.

I'm going to have to go with the second one, I just really like its strange crab design.

    I like the second one.

The crab ones nice but it's kind of clutter-fucked.

    Oh wait..thats a movie-design feature.

They're both cool, but I like the second one a little better. It has more of a traditional robot mode. The crab legged design looks too cluttered IMO.

A bit unfair to compare the two since the second is only a very rough work-in-progress. None the less, I prefer the Bonecrusher-esque tail and bipedal leg design of the "second" version.

BOTH. Upon closer inspection, you could have the second one's 2 legs split into the 4, 8-toed crab legs and also have the scorpion tail weapon on #2's back retract and fold up into the spike formation on #1's back.

Honestly, both these pictures look like the exact same guy, just in 2 different modes of attack, like the Movie Rampage and Mixmaster toys have. Triple Changing Constructions.

And yes, I'd LOVE a toy of this. C'mon Hasbro, you know you could always use more money, and I'm more than willing to open my wallet for you to own this guy.

The first one is far more intimidating. The second looks "meh" to me and not threatening enough.

I'm going to say the first one with the crab like legs.

I'm a fan of Japanese mech series and it's got this really cool Japanese mech inspired vibe going on with it. The extra bits don't seem so much like extra bits for the heck of it but more like the design flairs you'd see on a Gundam so it manages to have all the extra without being too busy. The legs also seem a bit more interesting visually than just two legs or wheels.

The use of color is also really nice on the design for making parts stand out where they need to stand out and it would make it so easy to tell which one he was even in a busy fight scene.

I prefer the second one. Arachnid bots are just silly.

Both are good, but the first one is more awesome in my opinion.

I like them both, but if I had to choose, it would have to be the first design.
