I liked the g1 dockworker even though the others make more logical sense and the cop one was a great piece of fiction. I like how he the aerialbots are naive and trusting and has his world come crashing down around him

 

I like to picture my Optimus Prime starting out as clerk at Wal*mart, and he got promotions so he could punch evildoers square in the face to be worthy of the Matrix of Leadership and rip apart other Autobots to make his own jetpacks and make himself a gun from the legs of those Autobots!

He used to drive a truck, but one night he got the idea to become one, so when he was helping unload the truck one night, he fell between the cracks of the seat to be merged with the same truck! Now, he drives himself around to the Wal*marts that he used to only stock! Vroom vroom! Pew pew pew!



 

I like the G1 toon origin story the best. I like the idea that he was really no different than the other Cybertronian citizens, and was suckered in my Megatron and the new flying Decepticons. Destroyed and rebuilt, he now can lead a group of civilians to fight off the same Decepticons that he was once in awe of.

 

G1 Prime was like my second dad.

I liked what they did with Animated Prime. Let him start from the bottom and prove his way up.

 

This is the one of the best origin stories I've ever heard of anything ever. If winning was water, you'd have swimming pools in your swimming pool in the ocean  

 

Data clerk or cop.

 

I like him as a data clerk. It makes him smarter than he looks.

 

I like the G1 origin, not only because I love G1, but also it shows that even someone who seems to be the lowest of the low can rise to great heights if given the chance to prove themselves.

 

Not to mention that in the process he also gains respect from Megatron himself who starts to call him by his name and no just "Autobot"

So yeah out of all origins I have to go with Animated one.

 

I'm not too fond of the "speshal destiny of the Primes" stuff, honestly. I just like the idea of a genuinely good guy who rises up and inspires others. Not because of destiny, but because he believes it's right.

 

Dock worker...I really like blue collar worker aspect of the G1 toon. The data clerk origin isn't so bad either.

 

But Orion Pax isn't.

I suppose Commissioner Gordon is a bad character too? It's not like there is anything compelling about cleaning things up and setting an example, right?

I prefer him as a dock worker. That's a huge leap to CinC and Prime of the Autobots and I think that's great.
