Classics for Prime, Henkei for Megs.

Cybertron Leader-class Optimus Prime for me. Tight joints, good articulation, durable as a brick, and I love his Super Mode. Plus, flying fire truck for the win. I also have a G1 Optimus Prime who gets played with fairly often. Armada Prime (my only other Optimus) doesn't get to do much, because he lacks all his weapons save 2 small trailer cannons.  

As for Megatron, Cybertron Leader class Megs. I have no idea what people are complaining about with his ankles. He's not nearly as much of a pain to stand as a 90s Buzz Lightyear. I love both his Cyber Key weapons. A laser Gatling gun that's like G1's fusion cannon with rapid fire? Hell yes. An arm-mounted claw weapon for bashing in Autobot heads? Oh yeah. And both vehicle modes. Pedestrian death on wheels and evil-looking space jet. The robot mode articulation is great, too. The look is also good. Or rather, evil. Looking demonic suits Megatron. And hey, he stole power from Unicron.

I'm also very fond of my other Decepticon leader figure, a customized G1 Galvatron.

 

the mp prime and a wst megatron because thats the only megatron i own.

 

Classics Prime, since he is the leader of my main G1 ish team.

mp prime and mp megs. if they take vacations, buster prime and animated megs rule the house.

 

My main Prime is ROTF Leader Prime combined with Leader Jetfire.

My main Megatron is ROTF Leader Megatron. Even though I'm not terribly thrilled with him he's the only Megatron I own. It might be time to give Leader Class HFTD Starscream his rightful place as leader of the Decepticons.

 

For me it's Henkei for both. It was these two figures that got me back into collecting in the first place! Oh how much more money I could have saved if I never saw these at comic-con two years ago....  

 

Hello all, long time lurker and newb here.

I seriously cannot decide between MP-04 and ROTF Leader Prime, they are by far my end all be all fav TFs... today it's ROTF Prime.  

 

MP Prime, and later Animated Prime. Honorable mention is the Voyager HftD Battle Blades Prime.

Tie between ROTF Voyager Megatron, Animated Megatron, and WFC Megatron.

I was wondering if Animated Voyager Optimus, ROTF Leader Optimus or Masterpiece Optimus should reign. Currently it's ROTF Leader Optimus because I just got Jetfire and his combination is trés beautiful.

 

G1 Prime is Optimus Prime but toy wise Cyberton Leader Class all the way.

 

Classic Prime is my favoret Optimus but CC Ultra Magus is more who I see as the leader of my Autobots. Uni Dropshot is actually standing as Megatron as I hate classics Nerfatron and do not have anything closer to classic prime in size that could be megs, E Ultra Megatron is standing in for Galvatron against Magnus right now, I really should shell or of SL G Galvatron but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

 

I really like quite a few of the Optimus Prime and Megatron toys, and I tend to like at least one version per toy line.

That said, I'm pretty fond of my MP Prime (20th) and MP Megs

I'd agree with most of your choices, though I don't own movie voyager megs or movie voyager prime. I got WFC megs yesterday, and he is my new favorite megatron!

WFC Prime and ROTF prime are both awesome too, but I feel an honourable mention should go out to Movie 1 Protoform Prime and Armada (yes, Armada!) Deluxe prime. His minicon gimmick made him look as if he was having an eppie, but i just love him!

If i had to choose one prime though... Yeah, MP.
