I've got a rather large choice to make. Which should I get? Mixmaster, Cannon Bumblebee, or Sideways. It's tough! I want to get Mixy cause he's a constructicon, but people have been saying he's a bad toy, and I'm not a huge fan of the color scheme. I also want a movie Bumblebee, I missed out on the first concept camaro, because I first discovered Transformers in 2008, when the movie tfs were getting only repaints. I managed to get a hold of Cliffjumper at a TRU,, and I love him! But people also have negative things to say about this guy about, the chest and posability. I hope that when TF3 comes out they don't release the exact same 07 BB mold only he has a different weapon. I swear, if they do... And there's sideways. Looks really cool, but I got Barricade. Is it true he's very similar to Barricade, cuz I don't want to spend 12 dollars on a Barricade rip off. Which one should I get?!?!? I don't want to get all three, only the best of the lot.
Out of all those I'd say Mixmaster. However, if you want a Bumblebee you should save up for the Human Alliance version.
I think Mixmaster is coming out in G1 colors so you may be able to pick that one up later on. He looked good in purple and green.
I'd go with Mixmaster. The transformation is a bit fiddly, not helped by the instructions being wrong in a couple of spots, but it's a fun toy and really captures the movie character well. If you're not fond of the colour scheme, there have been images circulating of a G1-style repaint that's due to be released at some point. Sideways is a nice figure, but it's not up to the level of Mixmaster. I can't comment on BB, since it's not one I have.
was gonna say Mix, but know this-you said you dont like the color scheme-Mixmaster is getting a G1 repaint. if you dont care for that, go for Mix. but if it sounds like something youd like, go for one of the others. id say Sideswipe, but he's getting a G1(ish) repaint into Swerve. so maybe Cannon BB, as he is the only one without a confirmed repaint, so his mold may not necessarily be available in some form later on.
If you want a bumblebee I would highly recommend that you get HA Bumblebee. Save a little bit of money and get this Bumblebee. If not, I say get two deluxes and wait for the repaint of mixmaster.
Mix! He's a creepy, angry, unbelievably articulated troll with one of the best alt modes HasTak has ever made.
Mixmaster is my favorite of the three, so that'd be first choice. Of the other two, I'd get Sideways. Even with the wee little feet, he's nice and has a slick alt. mode (even if it's an unofficial Audi R8). If you want a Bumblebee, either get the Human Alliance version or try and track down the Premium Deluxe from the first film. The Preview and Cannon versions for RotF haven't impressed me as much of an upgrade for Bumblebee.
