Both of them have a tank mode so for me it's better to pick just one, but because they each have a great looking bot mode so I can't decide. If anybody has both of them, which one would you recommend?

 

I don't like Banzaitron's colors, I'd rather have Bludgeon. Which i do  . If I had to chose between Bludgeon and Straxus, I'd choose Bludgeon. But between Banzaitron and Straxus, I'd choose Straxus.

 

Both seem great, but I'd go with Straxus too. Cheaper, cooler looking and it represents a cool comic character.

 

I'd like to get Bludgeon but I can't find it anywhere in my area. I may go with Straxus first and get Bludgeon later if I can find it.

 

Choices are not dispensed here fool...only me.

Neither. Personally I'm waiting to get Skullgrin. Better head-sculpt and color scheme than Darkmount(Straxus), and cheaper than Banzaitron. Basically, all around win, imho.

 

A magenta tank is better than blue?

I have both, I think they can't really be compared to but, Straxus is very well designed and have an amazingly unique transformation and some interchangable weapons for other bots with 3mm clips.

Bonzaitron, imo, is an amazing repaint (better than ori for me), is also very well designed, and very solid and posable in both modes.

 

I didn't get banzaitron because I already own bludgeon.

I did however get Straxus because I was a fan of him from the G-1 USA/UK marvel TF comics.

How much is Bludgeon's original retail price? BBTS has it on sale for $28 but that's still higher than Banzaitron's retail price at Target.

 

22.99 at TRU and 19.99 at Target, Walmart, etc. before discounts. 19.99 originally at HTS before 15% off as well.

 

I guess I missed the boat on that one when it was out. I'll have to decide between getting a repaint for $19.99 or higher if I want Bludgeon instead.

 

lots of ppl are selling Bludgeon for cheap on our boards... I personally just sold one for 9$ (complete) because I had a spare. I personally like Bonzaitron better but I see how homage can get the best of us. You can always search for Bluidgeon from the boards. Straxus you can pick up from retail easy enough for about 9-14$

Thanks for the advice. I think I will try the board first before looking elsewhere. I just visited the local TRU intented on buying the only Straxus I saw there a few days ago but somebody bought it already so I just have to keep looking I guess.

 

Also check your local Ross if you have em. I found a Bludgeon and Recon Ironhide there for $12.
