It's a close call, but, for the time being, I'm more excited about the Animated line. Mainly due to the fact that we've seen more of it's stuff than Classics 2.0's. That and it's coiming out before Classics 2.0.

As much as I actually find myself enjoying Animated (I honestly thought I wouldn't like the toys as I'm just not a fan of that animation asthetic), I'm still looking forward to Classics better.

My only complaint is Hasbro's whole stupid 'If character X is Animated than we won't do character X in Universe', because the asthetic is so different from anything gone before that you really can't say 'Hey, I'll just put Animated Jazz, Arcee and the other Dinobots in with my other Classics' because they'll look too different asthetically. The most you might be able to do is put a few of them in with Unicron Trilogy character as they're just a tad bit closer, but still a ways off asthetically.

    Classics 2.0

There's only a few toys I've seen in the Animated line that I'm interested in. Classics has already proven itself as a great line.

Animated has me the most excited that I've been about Transformers since seeing the Autobots return in Car Robots. The designs are refreshingly new. I love the engineering behind them. They're like perfect action figures that still transform. The show has me even more thrilled. From the way David Kaye & others are talking this is the first good TF cartoon since Beast Wars.

Meanwhile, I could really care less about Classics 2.0. They mean less to me than the extended Movie product. We've had these toys so many times before. I've moved on.
