I decided I need them in my collection.
So would you get the regular colored deluxes or the tuner deluxes?
I see on on BBTS that the tuners are cheap and I was wondering if it more worth it to find the regular versions?
    Or even the DOTM versions!
(Don't mention HA because I don't have that type of money right now... =P)

I need help picking... so please help me!
    Thanks!

In that case the original Delxues are the least worst option.

Dotm Deluxes. They're easier to transform and much more fun :)

I'd get either the regular ROTF Deluxes or the DOTM Deluxes. I like both color schemes, but I prefer Mudflap having a different vehicle mode from Skids, so I'd probably get the ROTF Deluxes. I don't have the DOTM Deluxes, however, so I don't know how they compare. I'f you're willing to wait until you can afford the HAs, however, I'd consider that. I only have HA Skids, but he's far better than the Deluxe, in both vehicle mode and robot mode.

The HA figures are pretty cool.

The RotF deluxes don't get enough lovin', though.

I'm pretty fond of the Robot Heroes myself as well :)

    Don't forget the Legends figures!

Yea, I think the ROTF Deluxes are a pretty decent representation of the two characters. The Tuner versions (atleast Mudflap, I don't have Skids) has some pretty goofy colors in bot mode. Nice thing is you can probably find them for $5 each in the B/S/T on this site. I know I gave a ton of Skids that I got from the Hasbro promotion to "The Giving Tree" last christmas. I almost feel bad for those kids. Seriously, other than them being terrible in the movie, the ROTF deluxes of the characters arn't all that bad.

I heard they were.... (When Toysrus was having a sale, I saw ROTF HA Skids for 12 dollars.... I regret not getting him.

They don't look as bad as everyone says.

Robot heroes and Legends will not fit with well with my Movie Autobot team... xD

HA. The best representations of the characters IMO.

    They look decent.
And I agree with the coloring on the Tuner versions, I find it fitting though.
Very true... Or even cheaper maybe.
Thats really sweet either way... =)

Well, I don't have that type of money to spend right now, sir... =P

Well, if you must get deluxe, I would recommend the original versions as they are not bad. But, you could also SAVE that money to eventually get the HA versions, although HA Mudflap will be difficult to find. Hope that helps :)

I think the Doc put it best here.

I have heard some murmurings in the Sightings forum (can't remember which state) of a small restock of Mudflap at discount retailers Marshalls/TJ Maxx. Might just be an isolated incident, but you never know. Check the Junkion, someone might have them/him up for trade. Let me see if I can dig up the link.

    EDIT: Here ya go- http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...s-transformers-sightings-152.html#post6358013

I guess my 'beef' with the Delxues is that i see them as having poor color blocking, and a lack of detail.

Not just compared to the HA versions, but compared to other ROTF Delxues...To me, they just feel...kinda cheap.

Why not just get the Ice Cream truck version? That's much better than the other versions. Plus, it's an ice cream truck. What's not to like?

    Yeah that was fun.

I like the regular ROTF deluxes as well. They're about as good as you could expect. The transformations are overly complex. To their detriment really, but that'd be the main thing I'd fault them on. You need a bit of patience with them. I like them better than the HAs to be honest.

I also have DOTM Skids, and while they simplified the transformation, it is without a doubt a one of the worst deluxes I've come across in the line. The clown shoes, the lack of posability, the stupid arms... I really don't like it at all.

On Dotm Skids you can turn the feet around and fold the toes back in. It makes it look a lot better, and the knees will work too!
