i really like the look of MP-10 but im unsire of his overall size.

a transforming trailer is a must.

MP-10. It's more stable and it looks more...spectacular than the blocky MP-01/MP-04 but that's still a good figure. MP-10 can also get into more poses and can emote better than MP-01/MP-04. The price is the one of the few drawbacks but MP-10 is still a recommended figure, more than the original MP Prime.

I'll attempt to be impartial, but TBH i do have a bias towards MP10.

Odds are some will fail to accept that both have positives and negatives, and come down completely for one, against the other.

MP1/4 is big, heavy, rather imposing, but the engineering shows its age and it has trouble supporting the weight of its limbs.

MP10 is smaller, much more plasticy, darn expensive for what it is, but somehow it feels like more a toy than a transforming staute.

I'd get both. Go with the cheaper one first then save up for the more expensive one. Both are must haves in any collection.

MP1 vs MP10, get MP10. MP10 is one full package, trailer, Roller, and Spike.

MP4 vs MP10, for me it's a tough call. Both robot figure are great in their own way so I'm not going comment on that. However, MP10 scale is the future. Also, how can you say no to Roller and Spike.

I own both and love both for their individual strong points. The mp10 for its engineering, alt mode, great articulation, and design. The mp04 has size, diecast, its in scale with Megs, and the small details like arm pistons, working shin vents, lit matrix chamber, etc... I would never part with either, and would replace them if somehow one broke, got lost, whatever. If I had to chose only one, I might go with mp04. He just makes such a great display piece next to mp05, the size of both these give the wow factor that mp10 lacks.

Why are you unsure when MP10 is only one size?!

In comparison to mp1/4 & mp rodimus he seems on the small side. But as mentioned above, its looking like the future of the scailing anyways

Get MP10, it's not as flat as the first masterpiece.

I own both MP-4 and MP-10 and although I would easily recommend both I have to say MP-10. The only reason to get MP-4 over MP-10 is if you already own MP-5 (Megatron) and want a figure that will match it in size.

I say go with MP-10, I had MP-04 and 10 is way better. I do not miss all the gimmicks MP-04 had at all.

These are the reasons I have yet to cave in and pick up MP-10.

I know I'm still a newb here and this will sound newb like, but I finally decided today after months of wavering to not get MP-10.

Why that matters (to me at least) is that I sold my MP-04 and ROTF Leader Prime last year to fund MP-10 after reviews started to come out, leaving me with no Prime. Then our 360 kicked the bucket and so I decided to go with a PS3 and used the majority of those funds to purchase it instead.

Months later I have the monies again but find myself hindered by MP-10's price for two reasons:

    1. I got the PS3 for the same price as MP-10 (and it only does everything)

    2. After a quick Ebay check with inflated prices I could get all three of my fav Transformers of all time... 20th Anniversary Prime, ROTF Leader, and Encore Optimus for the same price.

I still think MP-10 is pure awesome in all ways, but I guess for now he's just not for me.

Btw I'm actually thinking of picking up the 20th Anniv again (and some longer stacks) as it always seemed to have a better quality than any of the MP01/04's I had in the past.

    Sorry for the rant.

MP-10 scales well with Classics/ Generations / Henkei and United stuff.

    MP-01/04 obviously with Binaltechs/ Alternators. :D
