Like the Topic says, I just wanted to know which Transformers figures I should get from the Movie, I see a whole bunch of combo packs and didn't know if those are the same as the individual toys, like they should be. Also I see this Rescue Ratchet figure ala a Rachet in more G1 Colors and was wondering are there going to be any others like that?

and yeah, I JUST saw the movie on Wednesday, so that's what wanted me to get them, and I read somewhere that they are in similar size to the Alternators...that's just even better. So any help is appreciated

The 2 packs are the exact same as the stand alone figures, only cheaper. I'd say go for a 2 pack for the most for your money. But really, buy who you like the best. That's the best way to make a decision.

Which ever one's that you like. My opinon, is that Voyager Starscream and Ratchet are both awesome molds. Deluxe Brawl, while awesome, is a bit troublesome with the arms, lol. Read threw the Feedback forum, there are some pretty good reviews in there. That's about all the advice that I can give you, lol.

Leader Prime FTW. If you want a Megs, get the Leader. The Alt mode kibble doesn't bother me, but if you hate the kibble, don't get any Megs except for the LOC. I hear almost nothing negative about '08 BB, and I hear Ironhide is good

cool, thanks all, and yes, I'm getting the ones I like - which are basically the ones featured in the movie, just because.

I was wondering though, in the three pack with Brawl, Jazz, and Bonecrusher I think, is that Jazz the first release one or the final battle one. I read that the Final battle Jazz is improved and was just wondering about it.

Jazz is the first release in the 3-pack.

If you have $10 and want some fun, get FAB Frenzy...

My only recommendations are Wreckage, Blackout, and Barricade. Favorite Autobot is Ratchet, and both the leader/voyager Prime toys are pretty good too

My votes (in order) would be:

    Barricade
    Blackout
    Leader Prime
    Voyager Megs
    08 BB
    Starscream
    Ironhide
    Scorponok

Really, depends on how much you want to spend...as I could just as easily recommend the entire line (save the basics of course) and you really wouldn't be disappointed.

Anyways...if you were to go for two to a class (or something similar):

    Deluxe: Concept Camaro Bumblebee, Barricade
    Voyager: Starscream, Ratchet
    Leader: Prime, Brawl

Leader Optimus Prime is not only the best movie figure but he is also one of the best non-Masterpiece/Alternator Transformers to come out in quite a while. Voyager Starscream looks sweet and is easy to put in action poses. Voyager Ironhide is really great with his massive guns on either side of him. Only caution is that his feet are a little fussy. Deluxe Bonecrusher and Brawl are the best of the smaller figures, but there's for sure a Leader Brawl coming and rumor of a Voyager Bonecrusher, so you may want to wait on those. Megatron is 90% of a great figure. It feels like they were almost there but didn't quite get him finished as far as engineering and paint-deco are concerned. He's a fun figure, I think, but I could see him being a bit of an acquired taste.

For me, if you're a fan of the movie and is tight on cash - just get the TFs that appear in the movies.

I second that, get spy shot!

but then again, if there really is a sequel then you might regret not getting figures that were actually in the movie...

I recommend '08 BB, it's a really good figure and well worth the price. From what I have so far, I also recommend Wreckage since he looks cool in both modes.

The other one I have is Deluxe Jazz, which I would recommend but I really don't like his hands. I love the toy otherwise though. :)

The Final battle jazz basically has battle damage in Robot mode (though it has a squeaky clean vehicle mode) and has a new gun from the movie.

Jazz and Ironhide, because, uh I don't really have anyone else except for Old 'Bee and Legends so I don't know which ones are good :lol
But I love both of them very much. I could almost marry Ironhide, but my wife wouldn't agree on divorce.
(Honey, if you are reading this, I am joking.)

Real Gears are nice, too, though I am not a big fan of Speed Dial.
