The Revenge of the Fallen leader class Optimus Prime is damn near masterpiece level.

Definitely ROTF. Include HFTD and there's absolutely no competition.

...except maybe TF1. I hear a lot of molds from that line were pretty good, but I can't really back that up. Would you believe that the only toys I got from that line were the two Bumble molds? I did end up getting the ROTF redecos of Ratchet and Landmine, and got Jazz a year ago, but not much else.

EDIT: Actually, I did also get Scorponok and ROTF Gears, but Scorponok broke on me and Gears is no more after my attempt at customizing him into Rhinox...

    Fixed. :D

TF1 had some hidden gems - particularly the later AllSpark Power figures but early figures like Wreckage are nice - but ROTF in its entirety was essentially a home run with some minor hiccups. Basically out of the on screen characters, if it wasn't Fallen, Demolishor, or Sideways, they had a badass toy (Scalpel gets a pass for complexity even if his knees are inevitably going to break), and anything NOT on screen or using one of the aforementioned molds were absolutely amazing. Fuck, it was worth it just for Bludgeon...though I need to repair the hands on mine since they broke and he'll never hold his swords again...

I have to say this though, I like Age of Extinction's Evasion Mode Optimus Prime quite a bit. The transformation is pretty inventive.

Yeah, for all its other issues, ROTF had a surprisingly solid accompanying toyline.

For me RotF and HftD are the best overall.

I hope with this new movie toyline we'll get some new non-canon toys like in the good ol' days of TF1 and ROTF

I would say Movie 1 or 2. At least they continued on for a while.

Hard choice between ROTF and TLK. TLK's voyagers and (most) deluxes are amazing. But ROTF had incredible engineering and partscount.

Worst by far is AOE. Ninja Turtle backpacks galore.

RotF just for sheer variety alone. An old-man biplane, combining Legends Constructicons (with concept-art-only bots, too!), cargo jet with mini-Optimus, Ice Cream Twins, even a friggin' toaster!

Oh man, Ejector is great - his card bio is as well when you realize why he has a courage stat of 10

because he's a BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER!

I'm just gonna sit back and see what happens. Frankly I'm just glad this new toyline exists at all.

    ROTF, especially leader Optimus Prime

It's amazing how movie toys have progressed and improved from TF1 to TLK

ROTF for me, the complexity of the toys, the offscreen characters and just the sheer number of figures released. Not even counting the HFTD stuff, ROTF deluxes had 6 regular waves and then 3 additional waves in the NEST subline. Now we're lucky if we get 3 waves, 2 of which don't even get wide release.

Edit: also the introduction of Human Alliance!

I'm a big fan of the cyberverse/legends lineup and I have to say I loved the DOTM line, especially "commander class" ones. Blackout with Scorponok & Ironhide were both badass.

Easily ROTF. So much representation for the cast even if we miss a few like Scrapper and honestly it's just Scrapper. It had its duds, but man. What a great line 90% of the time. Bludgeon, Leader Prime, ALL of the Scouts, the Ice Cream Twins, Chromia, Long Haul, Legends Devastator.

DOTM had terrific Cyberverse. AOE... meh. TLK has some winners, though. I just wish we could've gotten Commander Class to get Hound, Onslaught and Nitro Zeus. And Legends Mohawk!
